Got a line on a fairly priced CBR954RR, and hope to look at it this weekend. Looking for opinions regarding comfort, reliability, and fun factor. I recently sold my 2000 VFR and am looking for a new addition to the fleet. Probably won't be doing rides longer than 3-4 hours on the 954 if I get it. I will probably try to put a top case on it and use it some for commuting. I'm 5'8" with a 29" inseam which is partially why I got rid of the VFR. Hi everyone.

Fun Factor

Winning is nice, but what I'm talking about is fun. In this case, I mean screw around matches where you can put standards and expectations at ease and just take a moment to enjoy the game for what it is. Some just have this really amusing nature and frustrating qualities for other people. The designs can still be competitive, no lie, but when I mean a fun AC, I mean one where you can laugh and enjoy the match even if you lose. I'll start.

Tiny Two Stroke Fun

I am seriously considering getting a little light-weight 2stroke 125. Mad I know, but I like the idea of back to basic back road blasting, on a little screamer. (also, herself can learn on it!)
I'll probably pick one up over the next week or two, but I'm just wondering what people opinions are on the following:

I am currently rebuilding my 1 owner from new original s2 erst as detailed in the restore thread.
Bodywork is currently being sorted with the welding mostly done, then it will be time to get it sprayed and looking nice,then mot it.
Now, the car has done about 130k (its a 87 plate) an is all original.
I would of had to build this car up slowly but it looks like i might be coming into a bit of money and i want to spend a bit of it on the car.
Currently im looking at spending about 1k on it but im...

I hunt with a ML full time. As mentioned before, I have for about 10-12 years now. I have been reading some threads where members are looking for that "optimum load" for the "200 yard shot" and it got me to thinking (this normally leads to the smoke detector going off....but...what the heck.) Has anyone ever checked the muzzle velocity of their muzzleloader with a chrono? Especially with their chosen load and bullet choice?
I only ask because I have hunted in some pretty serious wind the last co...

Thread Reading I love all the threads here, love all the opinions here, and obviously alot of posters feel very strong about their opinions. Reading the posts on the slab or not to slab their are many views and all of them are okay. If what your doing works for you then continue. I do study up on the coins before I purchase. I learn all the grading points, make sure I can afford all the coins of the set in reasonable grades. Whether a coin is slabbed or not slabbed doesn't matter to me, it would...

This was the third meeting of CTTFH: Club Tread Tentative Flaky Hikers, the club's core values being that we make tentative hiking plans with the strict understanding that anyone at any time could flake out at the last minute, or show up two hours after the planned start time. THIS week it was Q's turn to say, "we're running two hours behind, don't wait for us!" So we had a great showing and had a blast, several TTs R32s, PCars, VWs, UrQ, etc, thanks to Pro-Tech performance in austin. They are a pioneer in turbo kits for the RX8, and are thinking about getting into VWs and Audis, perhaps with the help of custom mapping tuning from Avalon in Denver and the DYNO at Pro-Tech I'll be putting down higher numbers at some point in a few months.
