Hello. I'm a 21 y/o female college student today was my first time voting. I'm also black. Well, I got the booklet published by the league of women voters for my state studied it. I used it to help me make my decisions. I always told myself that I didn't want to belong to any political party b/c I should use my own heart mind think for myself. Condo Rental Question - Blinds

I am in the process of finalizing a condo lease by Square one (80 Absolute) thru a broker. It has never been lived in before and therefore there are no blinds in place. I have requested the owner (to pay for and) install the blinds prior to the start of the lease but they refused. What is the best thing to do here? I have never rented a condo before so I wasn't sure if this matter is worth pursuing.

Blind Optometrist

Hey everyone-
I'm completely blind in my right eye. I was wondering if I would be limited in any way as an optometrist, seeing as I do not have stereo vision. I know some exam procedures usually require both eyes.
I've been told by the doctors I've shadowed to not let it limit me, and in fact one doctor knew one or two great surgeons with monocular vision. Other than being half blind, I feel I would make a great optometrist.
Opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm always surprised how many of you order or have ordered fragrances blind. And then ask on this site what everyone else thinks about it.
With the availability of samples within easy reach, why would anyone spend/invest in scents they may or may not like? Just curious

Court orders Iranian man blinded
A court in Iran has ruled that a man who blinded a woman with acid after she spurned his marriage proposals will also be blinded with acid.
The ruling was reported in Iranian newspapers on Thursday.
The punishment is legal under the Islamic Sharia code of qias or equivalence, which allows retribution for violent crimes.
