First and foremost I know that the main issue on the boards right now is PT8 and getting everything to work. So I wanted to sidetrack a little.
We all know that Microsoft announced Windows 7 at PDC 08 and that beta version have been leaked to the net where computer geeks and nerds a like are testing its ability.

Hi Guys,
I took Richard's Nobile 555 145x42 for a spin yesterday, and he couldn't get me off it. I really enjoyed the board, felt comfortable and really really light on the feet. It's a bit rougher then then my UG FLX 142, where with the UG it's just a smooth ride. With the Nobile when you hit chop it feels like someone is tapping the underneath of your board with a 20c piece. However the way it rides, holds its edge, speed upwin...

I'm drunk and I just watched the ending to Star Trek III. The bit where Spock says "You came back for me" and Kirk replies "You would have done the same for me." Lovely.
That's what Spock's doing in the new film I reckon.
Ban me for spamming the boards with horseshit if you want. Watching that and thinking about the new movie tugged my heartstrings a liittle.

DM Wants the Boards Opinion - So I'll ask

I'm pretty sure that this has been asked before but unless I post here my DM refuses to make up his own mind. I'd like someone to help me out with a magic item that my DM has deemed completely broken.
Magic item of Expeditious retreat. The +30 movement speed. Which if I read the book correctly the estimate is:
Spell Lvl * Caster Lvl * 2000gp (x2 if its a min/lvl spell)
(1 x 1 x 2000)*2 = 4000
He heard the price and deemed the item broken and somehow ended up with the conclusion that he couldn't...
