Breadcrumbs in Broadband - Forum feedback
(26 Aug 2008)

'Broadband' is pretty general.
... and it is a general discussion forum about broadband. It is just unfortunate that people do not actually look at the other forums before posting and think about where there post belongs.

Be* Broadband vs O2 Broadband?
(20 Oct 2008)
Hi,
I'm a Be* customer. Have been for the past 6 months, as of late I and other Be* customer's have been experiencing issues which, uncharacteristically, Be* are not resolving. Many customers including myself are thinking about jumping ship.
I've thought about changing ISP's and the the vast majority of LLU ones avalible to me from my exchange don't tickle my fancy.
Obviously as I'm a Be* customer O2 is also avalible. I'm just wondering:
a) just how much of their network is shared? (am i likely...

Virgin Broadband 2mb any good?
(28 Oct 2008)
Hi folks.
I'm thinking about possibly getting a virgin phone line installed as well as their 2mb broadband, as per the deal on their website (£4.50 BB and £11 line rental). This mainly due to the fact I'm likely gonna have to fork out £125 to get a BT line installed, plus VM - good BB.
Firstly, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the 2mb service is like? I don't do any heavy downloading, just the occasional stuff from Itunes. It will mainly be used for emails and general surfing as...

HSPA Mobile Broadband - Who is best?
(29 Sep 2008)
I'm going to be moving house next month and will be losing my Internet connection for a few weeks in the process. The area I'm moving too seems to be covered by Mobile Broadband from all the major operators and I was thinking about getting a USB dongle as a stop-gap. My problem is know which service to choose? I had a look at the ISPreview list and both Three and Vodafone look well priced.

Then I spotted on O2s site that they have a monthly...

Would anybody have any advice about going wireless by that I mean good speed, downloads etc but also keenly priced. I am currently thinking about going with BT as phone line is with them. My kids want to use XBox live and I dont fancy tripping over cables all evening.
