Blankley: To Conservatives Who Are Thinking About Tomorrow
(05 Nov 2008)
By Tony Blankley
November 5, 2008
Bring me my Bow of burning gold:
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire.
I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green & pleasant Land
In regard to attitude, America's conservatives could do worse than to be moved by those lines of Robert Blake from another place and another time on behalf of a similar sacred cause then not yet realize...

Dear Conservatives
(26 Oct 2008)
Dear Conservatives
I would consider it respectful if you would please use the term "PROGRESSIVE" rather than "Liberal" for Democrats.
The term implies just how most Dems believe in their opinions. While we do need conservatives as a balance and to sometimes give a yellow light to slow down a bit, most dems want to progress in this world as leaders towards humankind rather than stay stuck in beliefs and policies that actually rob us of what we could actually obtain to be better as human beings.

Conservatives Lost More Than An Election
by Chuck Baldwin
November 7, 2008
That Barack Obama trounced John McCain last Tuesday should have surprised no one. In fact, in this column, weeks ago, I stated emphatically that John McCain could no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton. He didn't. (Hence a vote for John McCain was a "wasted" vote, was it not?) I also predicted that Obama would win with an electoral landslide. He did. The real story, however, is not how Barack Obam...

Black Conservatives conflicted on Obama
(31 Oct 2008)
This is so very sad. This is just a final confirmation of what Obama '08 is truly about and eliminates any remaining ambiguity.
Out of curiosity, I was reading some editorials on various black conservative forums. And some are revealing that they are being called Uncle Toms by other blacks because they support McCain. I tip my hat to these guys that are voting for their party based on the actual campaign issues and choosing to just disregard the hate mail. Even black conservatives are getting a...

Conservatives have a unique opportunity...
(11 Nov 2008)
I tend to be one of those types of people who think 'outside of the box', and I was doing a bit of thinking today about the recent election. Conservatives can only blame themselves for what has happened, because we've supported candidates that (and I want to use the technical term here...)...That...

THAT SUCK!!!
I think that sums it up. You see, for the last 14 years we've elected one bozo after another who is 'sorta' conservative, and then gets to Washington and does the worst thing. Th...

This just in, Conservatives scare more easily than Liberals....
(20 Sep 2008)
From Wired
Deep-seated political differences aren't simply moral and intellectual: They're also biological.
In reflex tests of 46 political partisans, psychologists found that conservatives were more likely than liberals to be shocked by sudden threats.
Accompanying the physiological differences were deep differences on hot-button political issues: military expansion, the Iraq war, gun control, capital punishment, the Patriot act, warrantless searches, foreign aid, abortion rights, gay marriage,...

Question for conservatives - Opinion of Karl Rove?
(03 Nov 2008)
I can't see how that guy has any respect from the conservative crowd at all. In large part to his political strategy, and the administration's desire to put politics over governing, the democrats are now on the verge of having the whitehouse, a super majority in the senate, and a large majority in the house. In a handful of short years, this guy almost single handily blew up the republican party.
Opinions of these people aside, but Tom Delay and Newt Gingrich and that crowd have to be ready to k...

My Gay Teacher Bashed Conservatives Today
(31 Oct 2008)
I go to a public high school, where opinions and political standings are very diverse. Today my lit teacher - who is gay - assigned a book that belongs in the gay/lesbian literature genre. He says that by reading this book, he wants us to broaden our minds and become more open and welcoming to the glbt community. He also says he is very impressed with how much more accepting society has become toward glbts and that it is a huge step forward. He then said that he would hate to see conservatives t...

For Conservatives, Obama's Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating

For Conservatives, Obama's Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating
Posted by: Michael Medved at 5:56 PM
Some conservative activists, despairing (prematurely) about the chances for victory on November 4th, argue that an Obama win could be a blessing in disguise. According to this logic, The One would occupy the White House for only One term and whatever big government, liberal programs he managed to enact could be swiftly repealed by some future "true conservative" champion.
Yes, itÂ’s true tha...

How to Survive the National Hangover
November 5, 2008
Dan McLaughlin at Redstate posts on how to survive the national hangover. Most important is that we need to get in gear for 2010. Those House and Senate races begin today. Conservatives, start running for city council, mayor, state assembly, state house. We need to build a grassroots base of good conservatives and get these weak ones out. If you are...
