Brenden Brown's Debut on MSG
(09 Nov 2008)
Tomorrow (actually tonight), a buddy of mine will make his TV debut as the "expert" on MSG's Knick's pre-game show (w/Al Trautwig). The fact that Brenden Brown's dad is HOF coach Hubie Brown probably didn't hurt his chances on getting this gig. I'd be interested to know what those who get MSG think of his effort.
He told me tonight that he was very comfortable talking about the 76ers, as he'd seen them play about 30 times last year. When I suggested that he mention this early in the broadcast (s...

Debut Night (Hex only)
(30 Nov 2008)
He was nervous. He never shown anyone his collection before. But he had promised the woman that he would. And now he was nervous. Sighing softly, he smoothed his hand over his short, flowery dress and looked around in his studio. He had taken some time to straighten up his working stations. The Japanese male made sure to place his tools in their prospective areas, grabbing his chemicals used for embalming. Hideaki folded his arms across his chest and paced back and forth while deep in though. Wi...

Making his BTX Debut!
(17 Oct 2008)
My nephew came!! They had to do the C-section. Everything went great. Everybody's very happy and well. Gibson Robert was born approximately 9:34 p.m. Eastern. I know it's a bit of an unusual name, but it sounds kind of good when you think about it. He was 10 pounds/21 inches long. Yes, a little big. He also has a big head.

Worst Debut Ever?
(25 Nov 2008)
I recently saw Bret Hart's WCW debut again. Man, is this the worst one ever? The announcement of it, but Bischoff weeks earlier is totally understated. Announcing him as a member of the nWo absolutely kills him from the off. Then he actually debuts, to a massive reaction but he can't say anything of note because they are playing up that he may or may not be in the nWo. The announcers can't champion him at all, they make him a referee on his first PPV and they don't play up his incredible achieve...

BoA spoke about her US Debut on the January 3rd episode of KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Relay (연예가중계)." And it seems the pop princess is enjoying her new found challenge.

Debuting my Fugly. Critiques welcome.
(26 Oct 2008)
July is my very own Fugly - so called because of his unusual parentage. His dam is a registered Colonial Spanish mare and his sire an American Saddlebred. All things considered - it could have turned out much worse, yes?
I've owned him since he was a yearling. He's now a 3 year old (gelding) and currently measures at 14.1 1/2 hands. He's just returned from 30-days with a dressage trainer - an investment representing the extreme upper limits of my budget. He was backed and walked under-saddle 5 t...
