Melo proud to represent Denver -
(28 Oct 2008)
Report this post Article Discussion: Melo proud to represent Denver by admin on October 28th, 2008, 3:58 am
As November approaches, our state remains divided.
From Broomfield to Castle Rock, the opinions vary, but all are fervent. Indeed, we all want change.
But what kind of change? Some believe the hype; others believe it will just be the same old, same old.
Yes, the Carmelo Anthony debate continues. (What else could we be talking about?)
In interviews with 20-plus fans who were aske...

What are people expecting of Denver?
(15 Nov 2008)
I just read a post in another thread, saying that a lot of people are expecting a bit more from Denver this season. I had a little think about it, and I don't think we should be expecting anything more then what we did last season. I mean we have lost key names in Camby and Najera and haven't really gained anyone major, with the exception of Juwan Howard possibly. I don't think too many people would be expecting Denver to do better then they did last year with the names we have at the moment. Su...

Boulder Denver to Boulder, then Rockies by bus?
(07 Dec 2008)
Hi friends
To begin with, I will arrive at Denver Union Stn on the California Zephyr in the evening. Is there a bus/shuttle to Boulder at 8pm or will I have to stay the night in Denver?
Then, can you get from downtown Boulder to the Rocky Mountain National Park? I will most likely be staying off highway 36 on south boulder rd where I believe there is an RTD table mesa bus stop?
Do buses service the Rockies area or is it car only?
I will only be in Boulder for 2 days (max) and want to use my time...

Denver, Colorado Peeps, advice please...
(18 Nov 2008)
Hello all...I'm heading to Denver this Friday with a friend and we're arriving at around 1:30pm. I'm coming into town for the Coldplay concert at the Pepsi Center that night and then heading up to my parents condo at Beaver Creek. My question is this, what cool things are there to see in Denver and where should I eat before the concert? I've flown to Denver a bunch of times to go skiing in the mountains but never checked out the city. I'm also thinking about driving up to Boulder to show my frie...

Good body/paint places in Denver?
(22 Oct 2008)
I need some body panels realigned, possibly some straightening of the body, and some paint as well. A couple of places I've seen recommended are Apex Autobody and Centennial Collision Center. Does anyone have any opinions on these places, or any others in or around Denver/Boulder?

Anyone go to University CO Denver?
(14 Oct 2008)
I'm looking to go out West, and USC is looking less and less likely. My friend said CO would be a good one, and was looking for extra opinions on what kind of school it was. I'm looking around online now, but I figured I'd ask for the wonderful opinions of the highly opinionated.
I'm going into Architecture, btw.
Edit: The Bachelor's program is in the Boulder Campus, while the Master's is on the Denver, if there's a difference.

Thinking about Competing
(22 Dec 2008)
Hey guys-
Just joined, been a lurker for a while, but I saw the competitive shooting section, and I have been thinking about starting to compete. I live in east Denver, Colorado, and I was wondering what is the most popular type of event, and approximately how many rounds are used during the competition. I reload, so its more economical, but I need a lot of practise. I know they have many classes, but I don't know what it takes to be competitive in a class. I am mainly looking at IDPA and IPSC,...
