1. My Breakup Devastation Cure   (05 Dec 2008)
Hey Guys... I don't know if this will help anyone but last night I cured my pain and devastation over a very difficult breakup. I had to share it. For many years now I have been keeping walls up in my life that have prevented me from living open to what life has to offer. Women like me and respond to me very well, but I have been pushing them away for years because I have been in love and in pain over one particular woman. She keeps coming around in my life like a distant orbiting planet that en...

2. Devastators?   (06 Nov 2008)
I've been browsing the board to help me make decisions for a new list and I have notice that people don't seem to use devastators. I have been using a squad with 4 missile launchers for some versatility but I have been thinking about replacing them. What do you guys think? Are devastators worth their points or are heavy weapons better suited for tanks?

3. Devastating Criticals. A blessing in disguise for Guardians?   (12 Nov 2008)
For awhile now I've seen this complaint. "There is no content in the game that requires a heavy tank therefore the Guardian is marginalized by other tanking classes. Since no content requires a heavy tank there's no incentive to pick a guardian over a tanking champ etc" I think the devs addressed that with devastating criticals. Before you think I've lost my mind think about it for a moment. The devs introduce a play mechanic that is basically a one shot kill. The devs then give 2 classes in the...

4. Something to think about.   (19 Nov 2008)
A'salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu Quote: : Allah (SWT) relates to us, in the Qur'an, events in history so that we may reflect and gain valuable lessons and knowledge from them. Please consider the following Ayats about Dawood (AS): Has the Story of the Disputants reached thee? Behold, they climbed over the wall of the private chamber; When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: "Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other:...

5. Panicking would devastate economy, Flaherty says   (14 Dec 2008)
http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...tories&s_name= Quote: : Flaherty, who's visiting New Brunswick for the launch of his pre-budget consultations, says acting too quickly and making the wrong choices would not help Canadian families or businesses. "We know what we are up against -- worldwide economic slowdown, volatility in financial markets, sharp drop in commodity prices -- we are living in extraordinary times," he said. "We also know that panicking and making the wrong choices would be dev...

6. [EDH] Numot, the Devastator   (31 Dec 2008)
Goodday to you all! I've been working for some time now on this Numot deck, and I'd like to ask your opinions (and possible advice) about it. The main goal is to stall the game a bit by countering, stealing and protecting, and then dropping bigger creatures ASAP to smash face. However, I am on a budget, and largely dependent on the cards I already own. Nevertheless, I'm quite eager to listen to any advice that might pop up. There are a few cards I'm going to add later, but I have not got them in...

7. For Conservatives, Obama's Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating   (21 Oct 2008)

8. For Conservatives, Obama's Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating   (22 Oct 2008)
For Conservatives, Obama's Changes Would Be Permanent and Devastating Posted by: Michael Medved at 5:56 PM Some conservative activists, despairing (prematurely) about the chances for victory on November 4th, argue that an Obama win could be a blessing in disguise. According to this logic, The One would occupy the White House for only One term and whatever big government, liberal programs he managed to enact could be swiftly repealed by some future "true conservative" champion. Yes, it’s true tha...

9. Devastating consequences of homosexual marriage   (19 Nov 2008)
By Jen Shroder Aside from the obvious spiritual, moral, and "structure of society" reasons, let's look at the cold hard financial effect of same sex marriage in California. Statistics show it is a FACT that the average gay couple does not last long. In San Francisco, flooded with bath houses and all the activities that go with the average gay life style, you have a people determined to have their sex regardless of the consequences, which are now being reaped, including AIDS and many other STDs....

10. Republicanism’s anti-intellectual turn is devastating for its future   (24 Nov 2008)
Ship of fools Nov 13th 2008 From The Economist print edition Political parties die from the head down JOHN STUART MILL once dismissed the British Conservative Party as the stupid party. Today the Conservative Party is run by Oxford-educated high-fliers who have been busy reinventing conservatism for a new era. As Lexington sees it, the title of the “stupid party” now belongs to the Tories’ transatlantic cousins, the Republicans. There are any number of reasons for the Republican Party’s defeat o...
