so over Thanksgiving I went back home and ran with my old team. Well at the end of a short run the first day I was back we met an old man loading up his willy's who asked us to help with his tarp. Hi Everyone!
Just came across this forum after I bought my telescope a week ago. I'm just starting out again after a long absence from astronomy as a childhood hobby. I was in an op-shop when I saw an old Tasco 132T 76mm reflector in a box for $10. It had 6mm, 20mm eyepieces and a 2x Barlow, a T-piece for a camera, and a moon filter. Well, my "reality check" post hit the 150 liimit more quickly than I expected. It certainly generated some strong opinions. That was it's purpose. What surprised me was what some of the opinions were.
-Some felt my recounting of Olympus' trend to deviate from the "norm" of Canon and Nikon was tantamount to me expressing my own fanboyism. Yet I never said "Hey, Olympus does everything right, here's proof!" I was simply pointing out that assuming, or worse demanding, that Olympus compete directly...
