Dr. Phil "A Husband's Double Life" (26 Nov. 2008) - Polygrapher Jack Trimarco...
(03 Dec 2008)
Entertainment is perhaps the best use to which the pseudoscience of polygraphy can be put, just so long as everyone understands that it's all for laughs (as on the Howard Stern show). Regrettably, Dr. Phil McGraw -- who with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology should know better -- has for years been falsely promoting polygraphy as a scientifically valid test that can provide meaningful answers to serious life questions -- though somehow it never seems to do so in the episodes wherein he turns to the...

Interesting argument on paternity rights
(24 Oct 2008)
I was watching Dr. Phil last night and they were having an interesting discussion on fathers paternity rights. The argument started off by one lawyer suggesting that if the father "accidentally" or unknowingly got a woman pregnant, he should have a reasonable right to refuse his paternity rights. Basically meaning he could sign off his rights and wouldn't have to pay child support. This lawyer went on to say that DNA is not what determines paternity, it's the actions of being a parent.
Now, he w...

I don't mean for this to be a Dr. Phil session and i'm sure i'll get some flames but i could use some insight. Problem is i haven't ever really given a shit about really anything. I mean i'm not a sociopath, i do care about and love my family, friends, and pets.
Example:
In college i didn't give two shits about my grades i mean i'd never go to class or really apply myself and study because i just didn't care. Still pulled off a 2.75 gpa somehow.
If someone asks me how i feel about pretty much an...
