imo he wont be anywhere near as good as picking up a keen 19 year old with their draft pick.
i give him 2-3 years tops before he is cactus or kicked for using again. and those 2-3 years are going to be mediocre at best.

Hey guys, ever since the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, USA is going through consideration of bringing draft back.
What do you guys think? When USA is in need of troops to "fight terriosm"
I, myself, am too pussy to think about dying in the battle fields in AFghanistan. So I'm against the draft.
Any deeper thoughts in this subject?

I think it'd be nice to have a thread devoted to the upcoming 2009 offseason, which includes FA and the draft. We can discuss players, strategies, which positions to target, etc., all in one spot. What do you think? Can we make it a sticky Fiver?

Trading for draft picks - Opinions Please

I use to play in this league and they have a spot open now that they might allow me back in the league but my biggest gripe of that league was that they allowed trading for draft picks. It is a 2 player keeper league and for example this year there was a trade where one team traded their 2nd and 6th round draft pick for AP. This to me just does not seem fair even though AP is not a keeper and will be put back in the player pool. Has anyone here played in a league like this? How can a commishione...

I'm just getting into Magic. I haven't even played anyone who knows how to play yet and I'm just now learning I know the basics.
I was thinking about going to a draft tonight, but since I'm so new should I wait until I have more experience to go to a draft?
