Thinking of buying a core duo macbook pro

Hey there chumps, I used to have a core duo macbook , but had to let go of it , Miss me some os x so im thinking about getting a pro so i can atleast play some bf2. Since you can get 2.4ghz c2d macbooks from apple for about $1350, how much should I be looking to pay for a 2.0ghz core duo macbook pro? Thank you guys, i just don't want to over pay .

Hello all, long time since I've been here on the forum.
I've got a bit of a question to ask everyone about the writer's duo of the new Trek film. Well, really about Transformers, wich I just watched (yes I'm a bit late, I don't watch that many blockbuster movies). What did ppl think about this movie and do you expect the Star Trek movie to be in the same 'Hollywood Blockbuster' movie category Transformers is in?

Xeon or Core Duo? What to do

This is my first post on this board and was looking for an opinion or two. I'm thinking about either buying a used Dell Precision 470 w/dual Xeon 3.2 cpu's for approx. $200. On the other hand, I can get all of the parts and a core duo 2.5 Ghz on Newegg for a little bit more but everything would be new. This would be for a Linux box BTW. Any opinions?

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted. I just found out that a local shop in my country is selling complete computers, really cheap, so I figured maybe I'll just buy a new one (my budget is low atm). Tell me what do you think about this:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.26GHz
Mainboard: PCCHIPS P55G
RAM: 2GB Kingston DDR2-800
HDD: Samsung 250GB (7200RPM)
Reader: DVD-RW with LightScribe, LG.

What I think about MM Classic...

Is that:
- MM2 has the best Wily Stages.
- MM3 is the best overall.
- MM4 has the best non-Wily final stages, including fitting music.
- MM5 is the prettiest of the 8-bit games, with some real gems among its soundtrack (such as the intro theme and the final battle music).
- MM7 is the best non-8-bit classical Mega Man, with the second best Wily stages.
- MM8 has some really cool bossmusic and DUO!
- MM9 found its own style despite various attempts to recreate MM2.
You guys can share your thought...

Queries on the Retro Duo - need some answers please!

I know the Retro Duo comes in two flavours, white/blue and black/red and they are designed to take NES and SNES games for NTSC, PAL and Japan.
There was a thread also about compatability, and I have searched on other sites about this. Seems the Retro Duo is far better than the FC Twin - I have some questions though:
* Am I right in saying the Retro Duo doesn't run as fast as an original SNES (lags if too many sprites on screen)?
*Are the graphics as good on the Retro Duo as on the original SNES,...

Is it worth sellin' a Duo Core PC to cop a 360 or Ps3 ? So i am looking to sell my duo core desktop to cop a 360 or Ps3 tomorrow ..
