1. The product of being in a strong Christian Environment   (12 Dec 2008)
Hey guys I was just having a conversation with two of my friends, Ritesh is a hindu and is pretty confident in his beliefs but also open minded while Steven (estoy cansado y molesto) is a Christian who almost drowned and attributes his saviour to God, I am pretty much atheist and though I have been in a near death experience I do not attribute my saviour to God I give my thanks to the lifeguard that was on duty. We are all pretty smart people (test score wise) but i mainly posted up this convers...

2. I don't care what you guys think, this is my opinion.   (22 Oct 2008)
Okay, I like Obama. I might not be old enough to vote, but we had to write about who we would vote for today in S.S. So I chose Obama. He's trying to do more to help our environment. Not to mention, he thinks Bush is a Jack *** who is running our nation into the ground. Getting along much? I feel the exact same. I think he's an idiot.

3. Why I Am Thinking About Buying A House Now   (19 Dec 2008)
I have never read so much about houses / price crashes / in the last week thats for sure.... I see that over HPC has had a 40% increase in people reading on this website a lot of has been very interesting to say the least. Everyone has there own opinion, there own dreams, will follow what they think is the right path / destiny for them, there is never a wrong decision really is there? Its our perception at that time? Or at a later date? We can all take advice use it when it suits and be happy or...

4. Professional Opinions on Blender's Viability   (25 Nov 2008)
I recently attended the Montreal International Game Summit event. Though I went as a student, and used the event to network, I had an ulterior motive: I spent some time picking the brains of professional developers about the feasibility of using Blender as a tool in their pipeline for creating games. I compiled some information that I received that will hopefully make an impact on the development of 2.50. Keep in mind that these are NOT just my opinions, these come from industry professionals, a...

5. RRFF Review - something to think about…   (10 Oct 2008)
This post is not going to make me the most popular bloke on here, but sharing opinions and providing information is the greater purpose of this website so I’ll have a crack. As an Ausfisher (with a background in science) I was at one of the recent RRFF meetings and was astonished with the way the DPI&F estimates of recreational catch and the varying estimates of the stock assessment (5 estimates ranging from conservative to less conservative) were immediately discounted as “fudged figures” and “...

6. Too Many Opinions...VENT   (13 Dec 2008)
I have a little vent here, and this is my disclaimer first off.  I EBF and am proud to do so, I think its best for me and mine, but if you chose to FF, it is your choice, If you have attempted to bf nd it didn't work for you, yaaay for trying. If you never tried to, thats okay too, it doesn't change your love for your baby either way! So I was on the phone with a friend tonight and she asked how the babies were doing...they have had trouble with constipation, reflux and colic.  Our Dr. recommend...

7. Just My Humble Opinion   (23 Oct 2008)
Is it just me who feels this way, but is the true expert in the weight loss field someone who has lost a substantial amount of weight and kept it off for more than a year (less than 5% of people who lose more than 30 pounds have kept it off for over a year, according to a study out of Brown University's National Weight Control Registry), or someone with some "book" knowledge and a degree but has never struggled with the issues of obesity, or morbid obesity? I'm just trying to qualify the term "e...

8. Questions/opinions/stuff missing?   (21 Nov 2008)
I bought TR a couple of days ago (on Wednesday, actually) I’ve been playing it for 11+ hours. I’m currently at the end of south Mexico.. Oh and I have the Ps3 version, if that makes a difference. 1st question: After you finish Mexico, does the game start to go by faster? Because I have heard that the last 2 levels are short.... 2nd question: Could someone post a walkthrough of the end of the Mexican level please? I think I just screwed up real bad, and might need to start the entire level over a...

9. Honest Opinions Wanted!   (30 Dec 2008)
We are gearing up to play 2nd edition AD&D in our area, and we have a list of house rules that we used years ago. As the times have changed, so have our thoughts on things. We wanted to get the opinions of the community on whether or not our house rules were too strict, too loose, if they would work, it not, etc. So here goes (and I apologize for the length in advance): Races Not Allowed 1. Fremlins. +1 or better weapons are needed to hit Fremlins, and therefore monster encounters must be update...

10. Opinion: Why A Game Designer Outgrew Video Games   (08 Nov 2008)
Opinion: Why A Game Designer Outgrew Video Games Opinion: Why A Game Designer Outgrew Video Games [As kids grow, they may trade Dr. Seuss for George Orwell, and Nickelodeon for CNN -- but for what can they trade Super Mario Bros.? In this opinion piece, designer Brice Morrison laments the lack of truly mature games -- and examines what "adulthood" for games might look like.] My mother was never interested in games when I was little. Looking up from her newspaper, she would give a soft smile as s...
