Hey there everyone! I'm curious, what's you're position/opinon on the new Macbooks and the lack of Firewire? It looks like it's on the decline, possibly to be phase out at least on Apple's consumer products. For most of you using a USB stick, obviously it's not going to affect you much, but what about your other peripherals etc? Personally I find it a big disappointment, though I can understand the economic reasons behind such a choice. Still such a shame as it's a great interface. It sure kicks...

4. A few thoughts of 10' GUI...   (26 Nov 2008)
The whole previous night I've played in the EyeTV 3.0.4 full-screen (10') GUI, for I want to turn my mini to a shining HTPC. With all respect to Elgato programmers (who did great job otherwise and whose willingness to listen here and hear -- the 3.0.4 editor comes to mind! -- is great), I was not impressed at all. Whilst generally a nice and powerful application, the EyeTV's 10' GUI is very tedious and incovenient for me, and pretty unusable for anyone who happens not to be a computer power user...
