Hi All,
I`m meeting with the Mayan sales manage today to discuss final negotiation or rescission of our contract.
We`re buying a 2 bdr 2 wk a year for 100 yrs at The Bliss which is new construction infront of The Mayna Palace in Nuevo Vallarta.
Our final purchase price is $21,500 & they say it is worth $59,000 in credit toward a future upgrade her.
They are adding The Sea & Sun Package which is a 2 bdr unit at The Sea Garden & another at The Mayan Palace to the life of the contract. These units...

Emergency Info Sticker

I've been thinking about this for awhile and thought I would see what the general consensus is. I've got a thermal printer that allows me to easily make up stickers. I was thinking of printing up some stickers that could be placed on my helmet.These stickers would contain emergency info should I be unable to speak for myself. Kinda like the ICE contact on a cell phone but with more info for first responders.They are 1 3/4" x 3 3/4". I figure that would be the right size to be easily seen.

i have a girlfriend in calif, that was under threat of evac for the fires last week. Thankfully she was able to stay in her home!
However her pets are an aquarium of sensitive seahorses and supporting animals, and life.

Heck, we're conditioned to $3-$4.00 gas now
We NEED to pay for some of this paper we're printing and handing out at the corporate breadlines
$.50 per gallon federal gas tax NOW!!!
That will put the price for most of us between $2 - $2.50 per gallon now If oil and gas shoot back up the tax reduces itself or goes away entirely until it comes back down again.
Any opinions or thoughts???

Using a 2-way radio in an emergency - which channel?

I don't know about anyone else here but I end up spending a lot of time riding/snowshoeing or whatever alone in the woods. I always tell people where I'm going but I still worry about being found if something bad happens, especially in a blizzard or something.
Usually cell service is non-existent so I'm thinking about carrying a 2-way radio with spare batteries (I have a Motorola T5500) and leaving its twin at home, tuned to the same channel. That way if anything happens I can turn the radio on...

We have a friend who was ill on a ship in Aruba and was taken to the hospital. The ship, of course, had his emergency contact (they all ask for that) but it made me think about the number of times you're on a tour or something and have no emergency contact info on your person. Just a reminder

So Ive gone to post this a few times and then decided against it in fear of being percieved as something Im not but my need to just KNOW has over ridden that fear so here goes...
