Searching for people to form a car enthusiast/builders/sponsor group. Eastern...
(14 Dec 2008)
Hey people how are you doin? I'll cut straight to the point. I personally enjoy building and modifying cars. Maybe even more-so than is healthy. However it is a passion that needs to be shared. I'm looking for people in my area that are willing to form a (even though it seems to cliche to use the term) "car club". I'm looking for all types of people, from the advanced engine builder to the newbie who wants to learn how to modify his car. My goal is to form a group in which people who share a com...

Need opinions from you audiophiles (or enthusiasts) about speaker upgrades...
(28 Oct 2008)
If you are at this stage of life where your second baby is coming in 5 months, you'll understand and won't put out replies like. "Just upgrade the Head Unit, get a nice dash trim, get new speakers for both front and rear, and get yourself new tweeters and while you're at it, new amp and sound processor. You'll be amazed at how much difference they will make".
The name of the game for me is to make minimum changes as cheapest as possible and be able to enjoy my commute home with clear crisp tone...

VA\DC\MD cosplayers, filmers, anime enthusiasts needed to film anime opening...
(12 Nov 2008)
Hey cosplayers and anime enthusiasts with various acting or filmaking skills.
I wanted to put together a group to film some anime openings or closings, which ones will depend on who joins and what costumes they have. I used to film some things in college and i'm okay at the editing, that being said, i'm no egotist, i want a team project so if anyone joins that are more skillful in any area i'll probably yield to your expertise in editing, timing, sounding etc, even filming. If you have no skills...

A question for z32 enthusiasts!:
(09 Nov 2008)
So I heard that 300zx's are really hard to take care of. What normally goes wrong and how much does it cost to maintain it? What is a good mileage on a nonturbo? I'm thinking about buying a 300zx but I'm pretty young still, and I've heard that they are costly. Thanks for the input.

The knife enthusiast thread (I guess swords and machetes too)
(29 Oct 2008)
Being that I'm picking my pocket knife up from being sharpened tommorrow, i was thinking about how I kinda like knives. If I had a grip of expendable cash, I'd probably pick up at least 10 more. I have 5 right now, and unfortunately I lost my best, most $$$ knife a couple years ago. Which sucks because it was one of the best (and now discontinued) knives you can buy for under $200. The Benchmade Tsek with better lock mechanism (I forget the name, not the liner lock). Just under 4", no serration....
