Hi guys. I've always loved the SL from 2003+ years and now that they're getting under 30k I'm seriously considering the purchase of one. I'm wondering how reliable they are in the long term. I'm looking at higher mileage cars (70k+ miles) so I'm concerned with things such as the power roof, tranny, and engine motor.
I'm also wondering what you guys think is a fair price to pay for an '03 sl500 with say 70k miles in good shape with a clean title.
Also what about the navigation system? Is the '03...

Thinking about adopting a dog

My daughter has been wearing us out for a Puppy for the past couple months...she says that all she wants for Christmas is a puppy (her Christmas list has the puppy, and then pretty much just stuff related to a dog...IE - new collar, dog toys, rawhide bones, etc.).
Anyways, the wife and I are not against it, we're big fans of Border Collies, and our current Female (Arrow) is a great dog....I think she'd do good with a companion too....but we are not at all excited about raising a puppy, especiall...

Hey all. I wanted to get your opinions on possibly getting rid of my 36, either by selling it or trading it, for a 26.
I've owned my 36 for about 7 months, and have ran somewhere around 350 rounds through it. It's a great little gun, but I'm not thrilled with the way it carries. My first issue is it's size. Hello. I'm a 21 y/o female college student today was my first time voting. I'm also black. Well, I got the booklet published by the league of women voters for my state studied it. I used it to help me make my decisions. I always told myself that I didn't want to belong to any political party b/c I should use my own heart mind think for myself. Well i know this could well be a controversial subject for some, but lets keep it civil, I for one am quite excited by the election of Barrack Obama, i think it is time for a change, and am optimistic that only good will come of it, i have yet to hear how Obama will consider the fair deal trade that Mccain was a 100 per cent behind for NZ, so am hoping Obama will follow suit.
As for our upcoming elections, the american election may well reflect on voters here , thats for sure, they may also thin...

Aftermarket fairing opinions

I know, opinions are like etc etc etc.
I bought my RKC so that I would have many options as to its look. I want to add a detachable fairing for a few reasons, the radio, more wind protection and so on.
I am looking for any opinions on what I deem the 3 major units:

Wow, so i have been reading quite a bit within the forums about both ATB and GTP. Both intrigue me and i am interested in learning more before i decide to purchase one or the other.
I was a little worried about getting an ATB only because i have heard of their aggression with they are stressed out.
