Windows XP 64 bit - First Look (written by Digital Dave)
(This is an updated look at the 64 bit OS after over 2 years of running it!)
I have had the pleasure of running the 64 bit Windows XP OS for about 2 years now. For those of you who do not know, MS decided to take Windows XP to the next level by releasing a 64 bit version of the OS. In this article, I'm going to take a first look at what it brings to the table and what you can...

Opinion please on if X3 TC is playable on my computer.
(10 Nov 2008)
I finally got to see the boxed version in my local store the other day, and I notice that the box specs are different to what was advised in here a while ago. The lesser spec makes me wonder if the game is playable on my computer, as I had originally discounted it as not likely.
Opinions please, but as this is a notebook, nothing is changeable, so there is no point in giving upgrade suggestions. Just give me a straight answer as to if the game will run, and how well if it will.

Windows 7 (Vienna) Preview
(05 Nov 2008)
I should be using this later this afternoon, in which I hope to see how COH:OF will perform if Vista Drivers work on it. I voted yesterday and had the machine tell me that I had not blackened the
ovals sufficiently in a couple places. That got me to thinking about
digital signal processing and ultimately, faxes. Apparently the Comite
Consulatif International Telephonique et Telegraphique (CCITT) are the
people who standardized fax transmissions.
I'm trying to imitate the use of the T.4 encoding. Each scan line contains
1,728 pixels. They...

Alert: ZoneAlarm Firewall created by Israeli Mossad agents
(20 Oct 2008)
Just to remind you, Check Point Software Technologies is the owner of ZoneAlarm firewall. This article states that Checkpoint was founded by members of the Israeli Mossad Hi-Tech Intelligence Unit. This company has also been proscribed from winning sensitive US government contracts as it is believed to be a front for Israeli Intelligence. Would you trust such a firewall which could be leaking such information to the Israelis?
