Just to throw the though out there to see if anyone else would agree, Mike Wilbur wrote an article for Firehouse Magazine (Nov 08) EV Ops section titled "Warning: POV's Kill". It seems to me that maybe that should be titled "Warning: POV Drivers Kill". Not to get into symantics here, but a vehicle never killed anyone. Looking for some good leather boots. At my last job we had Pro Warrington's and they seemed to be pretty nice, and where I now work (just finished the pre-entry academy Friday and start shift work on Wednesday) we can choose, and pay for, anything we want so long as it is 14" and NFPA 1971 compliant I believe. Opinions appreciated! Thanks.

What does everyone here think about Doc?
Personally, Doc is tied with Bosco as my favorite character on Third Watch. I've always liked him for one reason or another and even thought he could have had some better storylines, Michael Beach always put on a strong showing either way. He never really did that many things to bug me and was my favorite medic. There was definitely a huge void in the firehouse once Doc left. Ghostbusters on ABC In 1989 - Opinions Wanted

I've recently come across a recording of Ghostbusters from its airing on ABC on January 29, 1989, complete with all of the commercials (the only thing missing is the end credits). I was thinking about streaming the entire broadcast with commercials on January 29, 2009 - 20 years to the date of the broadcast. I might also do it again on June 16, 2009, the 25th anniversary of the movie's premiere. I was wondering what any of you think of this idea.

I think the problem with politics in general is that people forget whomever is in office is human. In history rulers have equated themselves with divine rule or the fact that their position of power means they are divine, etc. Look at the Roman empire and how Augustus changed his name to then Ceasar Augustus which meant God Ruler... Same with Ancient Egypt, Holy Roman Empire and European monarc...
