New Song - Fishing for Opinions

This song is actually still kind of in the writing process. This is a take from a practice session, so forgive us if there are a few sour notes here and there. The sound quality is decent, as we ran each instrument through a multitracker. So I was at least able to get a quick decent mix from what we had.
Anyway, this is after (yet) another line-up change for PowerBastard, and it isn't exactly the kind of material that we have been playing. So I'm curious to hear what other people think about it....

Fishing Lure Shelf (update: need opinions)

Here is a fishing lure shelf I am making for my father-in-law, he has some antique fishing lures. It's just a small shelf and will have divider for 13 lures when done
BUT
the main point of this post was to thank Charlie Plesums for his emails walking me through using a 45 lock miter bit. I wanted to do something a little different instead of just 45's glued together.
Also using this technique I was able to "wrap" the grain around the box which give it a little better look, especially with this w...

Ok the green zones for the barrier reef from the Bunker group north and the 10 day reef fin fish closures have been in for a while now. Whats the general unbiased opinions of those fishing these areas. Has the fishing in those areas, that you can fish, improved ,as a result of the closed areas or has the additional fishing pressure which is now placed on the smaller areas where we can fish meant that the fishing has got worse or no change in catch numbers or catch quality.

New sturgeon fishing pole opinions.

I'm looking to replace my 4 Penn Sabre 7' 15-30# fishing poles. I like the Diawa VIP saltwater VIP870 7' 15-40# poles. Since I need 4 poles, They need to be under $100 a pole to fit the budget. I use 65# braid with 2 penn 320's and 2 Avet mxj's.
Any opinions on the Diawa saltwater rods? Or any other rod I should look at that cost under or around $100 a pop?

Thinking about Harriet Lake for tomorrow

Due to a canceled engagement, I suddenly find myself free to go trout fishing tomorrow.
What about Harriet lake, is it good this late in the fall?
Or...any other trout suggestions, not too far away from Portland?

Why is it that most people (myself included) think about fishing in the Spring or summer but not in the Fall?
My hunting doesn't start until December, I'm thinking I should do some fishing while I do some scouting ... that will confuse the deer!

Question: Oregon Inlet Striper Fishing

I want to know if anyone has been there striper fishing. Any good places to surf fish that you know of? Strongly thinking about making that run the weekend of the 19th of Dec. Wanna know if anyone have any ideas on the best boat to charter. I'm looking for quality and quantity here! Anyone thinking about going?
