Due to the effect Amendment 2 would have on domestic partnerships I don't think it would pass.
However, the backers are going around to Baptist churches to try and slip this one by. Apparently they think Baptists are gullible enough to vote for this travesty.

Your opinion: Florida or Puerto Vallarta over New Years?

Did some searching here in the forum, but wanted to get your opinions.
Want to visit either Florida (Key West & Fort Lauderdale) or Puerto Vallarta over the holidays (late December to early January).
Never been to either location.
What I have in mind:
Traveling alone. Would like to meet people, but not a must.
Staying in a hotel on either trip.
Want warm weather and a nice beach. Want to relax.
Will do some shopping, clubbing, sightseeing during the trip.
For the Florida trip, I will rent a car....

Florida International University? Opinions?

So I'm well into the process of applying to this school's anesthesia program but I have heard some things lately on another board (not related to nursing) that has me concerned (as to the University as a whole) not specific to the Anesthesia Nursing Program there. Things like: the university is a joke, they couldn't even get their pre-meds from there into medical schools, etc.
I'm looking to hear straight from the horses mouth. People that have attended there, graduated from there, etc. What are...

We are thinking about going to Orlando, but I have a hard time in humid weather. When is the best time to go to Florida when it is not humid? What about May or June, what is the weather like in regards to humidity? What is the Hurricane weather span. Thank you all!

I wish to take a Erzulie Freda (the Vodou lwa "goddess" of love, luxury, and wealth) 'Goddess Bath' in order to attract love and wealth into my life.
Anyhows I need to obtain the following ingredients:
Florida Water
Fresh basil
Champagne
Rose petals
One small can of evaporated (NOT condensed) milk
Vanilla extract
Coconut milk
Orange leaves
Fresh lettuce
Fresh aloe
Most of these items I can get at the supermarket but obviously I need the Florida Water. So can someone please advise me where to buy...
