Glorious Weekend - My 1st Two First Night Pulls
(22 Oct 2008)
I have been holding myself back from committing to first night pulls. I would always sabotage them in some way or think that there was something magical that had to happen in order to pull it off. This was a MAJOR sticking point for me because I was not committed to seeing it all the way through. You would laugh/cry/be ashamed of the amazing opportunities that I have blown. Amazing Opportunities that hurt so Bad!
I drew a line in the sand and decided that Friday Night was the end of the line. I...

Microwave ovens humiliate us as Muslims
(04 Nov 2008)
Toilet.
There. Anybody who objects to that with his 'fake piety' deserves to have the word 'munafiq' branded on his forehead.
Which reminds me- non-Muslims invented the microwave oven. Big Macs humiliate us as Muslims. Dish-washers, syphilis, space-rockets and Chicken Tikka Massala. Oh, I'm overwhelmed! Curry is Britain's favourite food. I don't believe it! I'm so excited! Britain has come such a long way since the repeal of the Corn Laws in 1846! And we in England have a Scotsman as PM! Just th...

Thoughts on post-Ritual culture
(02 Nov 2008)
Once, I briefly played a character who feared the Gift because it took away the meaning of death and therefore the meaning of life. Although someone managed to convince her that being Gifted was not like being undead, she never got over the feeling that Gifted aren't in the same category of being as the Living (which isn't to say she believed that Gifted people were lesser individuals - she herself was Gifted, albeit one who avoided dying after her first death, to the point of retiring to the qu...

Hey there, it's your one and only Beth Fallout Troll!
The next lines are from a friend of mine (Alex) that is a big Fallout fan but would not post on forums. He prefers to work for money or play instead of wasting time. Hope you enjoy it:
Top 10 Funny Things I Would Like To See In Fallout 3
Since Fallout 3 seems completely void of the funny and sometimes over the top things that made Fallout 1 and 2 famous I propose to Bethesda to start working on an extended edition to put some fun in the game....

Help with hotel planning for my honeymoon
(25 Sep 2008)
Hello everyone,
I'm planning our honeymoon for Grand Cayman for eight nights next spring (March 30-Apr 7, 2009) and would love some advice regarding my itinerary and places to stay. The honeymoon location is a surprise for my fiancee and while she's given me some general planning guidelines, I could use a little advice with planning this trip.
We like restaurants, snorkeling, and exploring new areas/towns. We're not crazy about crowds but we can handle them in moderation. We both like the idea o...

Most Common Questions asked by Non-Muslims
(11 Nov 2008)
Assalaamu 'alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Dearest and most beloved brothers and sisters, I pray you are all in the best state of health and in the highest peaks of Imaan, InshaAllaah. I found an article online couple years ago written by Dr Zakir Naik on Da'wah and how to answer common questions that many non-Muslims throw at us. It includes questions on the issues of hijaab, polygamy, pork, alcohol and many more. And the best part is, Dr Naik gives such a beautiful answer to all the questi...

Where did America’s missing millions go? Holodomor Lessons
U.S. history contains a serious crime against its own people – the Great American Holodomor of 1932/33, which cost the lives of millions. Historian Boris Borisov suggests the U.S. should not lecture Russia on Holodomor in Ukraine, but take a closer look at the lessons from its own past.

Turkey forums: CIRALI, KALKAN and other places on Med coast trip report! ...
(15 Sep 2008)
Just back from a lovely short trip along the coast. For the sake of giving some idea as to the distances and time taken (by car), this is what it took us: From Dalaman to Gőcek takes about 30 minutes; then from the 2nd petrol station at the end of Gőcek and continuing along the main Muğla-Antalya No. 400 road it took us 20 minutes (25 Km) to the Üzümlü roundabout on the outskirts of Fethiye, a further 20 minutes (23 Km) and we were at the Kemer turnoff (for the inland route to Antalya). We howev...
