Looking at grad school in Logan right now. I have read some of the logan threads already, but was wondering some things.
Anyone know anything about the USU landscape architecture program and or anything about river stream restoration or watershed management opportunities there? I was thinking of taking my GIS experience there and seeing if i can find work for a year to establish residency.

I'm currently renting a "vacation" apartment. As expected, there is a discount on a weekly rental of about 10% over the daily rental.
We've stayed so far for two weeks, paid individually by week. The third week started today, but I only want to commit through Wednesday night at this point, although I may stay longer yet.

Hi everyone. I'm looking to buy a new camera. I currently have a fuji S5000. Its old, outdated, and just not that great of a camera. I like taking pictures at car shows, and nature as well, just to give an idea of what I may need.
Now, I'm looking for an entry level camera. I was just about set on a Nikon D60, so I went to the store to check one out, when the guys shows me the Sony A350. Similar packages, with not much varying cost.

I've read some disturbing things over in the support forums about this dual hybrid tuner. Still, I'd like to have some HD support, and I'd like to have the option of recording multiple shows at a time. For now, I still have analog cable, and apparently, all the major broadcasts on QAM (I did some googling for people in my area with the same service), so my plextor convertx still does me some good. But it won't always, and I'm looking for a purchase that will hold me over for a good long time.

opinions about my teacher starting me on southern style kung fu?

Ok, so I started a wushu class 2 weeks ago [wushu as in chinese martial arts in general, not the gymnastic-like stuff] At first my teacher started me on northern mantis, but when I went in yesterday and was practicing my mantis form my teacher came over and told me that he thinks I'm more suited for southern style kung fu, since I'm young [17] and might be able to do the jumps and such. Now, I had been hoping to do mantis as it sounds like a great art, but I told him ok that I'd do southern. So...

I'm one of the girls that read ALL the other posts about DH/DP's on her and think "goodness I'm soo lucky my DH would never do that" etc etc etc
He is really amazing and completely supportive but I just have to debrief about an incident last night, and this is as bad as it gets for us...
So DS was in bed at 7, DH was working late (12 hour day 9-9..) and I spent 2 hours in the computer researching my birth options.
I went on this forum and loads of other forums looking for reviews and experiences...

I want to see what you guys think about this. Do you think they should? I say no. In my little world, kids should be exposed to the REAL world as early and as aggressive (for lack of a better word) as possible. You want to prepare your children at an early age, am I right? I mean sure, you're gonna bring up the "ruin the fun" thing and whatnot, but seriously, there are a couple things wrong.
1. Won't they be more hurt when they find out it's not true?
2. Why introduce them to made up ? I mean ye...
