1. Thomas Howard's Personal Fouls   (25 Nov 2008)
Did anyone else other than me and the two announcers (including Raider-Hater Randy Cross) think those personal fouls against Cutler were absolutely bogus! This is the NFL for crying out loud! Luckily they didn't have a major affect on the outcome of the game but they very easily could've. They showed a replay of another Howard blitz and he completely slowed up when Cutler threw the ball! That is complete BS and is taking away from the game and making this a league full of pansy QB's. Opinions?

2. Fairness Doctrine Fouls Out   (07 Dec 2008)
December 07, 2008 Fairness Doctrine Fouls Out By George Will WASHINGTON -- Reactionary liberalism, the ideology of many Democrats, holds that inconvenient rights, such as secret ballots in unionization elections, should be repealed; that existing failures, such as GM, should be preserved; and, with special perversity, that repealed mistakes, such as the "fairness doctrine," should be repeated. That Orwellian name was designed to disguise the doctrine's use as the government's instrument for prev...

3. I Cry "Foul!"   (04 Dec 2008)
The Fan Voice: "I Cry 'Foul!'" December 4th, 2008 Anyone else think that NBA referees have too much influence on the outcome of games? Anyone else bothered by the fact that two quick fouls on Dwight Howard completely changes how our offense runs and how other teams play us? The referees’ interpretation of the rules is what is in effect. And since each ref may see things differently, and even a single ref might vary in how he/she interprets a rule violation, it leads to a nearly infinite number...

4. Thursday News: Rosen revises opinions re suns's title chances   (01 Jan 2009)
http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/8...ely-in-Phoenix Quote: : Shaq starting to fit in nicely in Phoenix by Charley Rosen Updated: April 10, 2008, 12:23 AM EST 14 comments add this RSS blog email print Game Time: Suns 96, Spurs 79 Well, I guess it's time for me to eat my words: On the basis of the Suns' whomping of the Spurs (in San Antonio, no less), Shaq has been effectively integrated into Phoenix's game plan. It's also true, however, that Shaq had a decidedly mediocre first half. Missing a p...

5. Which is more important: a blocked shot or forcing an offensive foul?   (25 Nov 2008)
Here's a question that I definitely have an opinion on, but I can completely understand those that disagree with my opinion: Which is more important, a blocked shot or creating an offensive foul on the opponent? I think forcing an offensive foul on the opponent is slightly more important than blocking a shot. Now, when you force your opponent into an offensive foul, you will not get any credit on standard stat sheets. However, you will create an absolute turnover-- your team takes the ball out o...

6. Finney as sg   (29 Oct 2008)
What do you people think about Finney getting lots of minutes at the 2 guard spot? I noticed 2 things in the b/w scrimmage. 1. His 3 point shot is greatly improved and appears to be more than adequate. 2. Ben likes to drive the lane for shots under the basket, but I noticed he was charged with a number of offensive fouls, and actually would have fouled out in a real game. My question I guess is where does he fit in best? as a 2 guard or small forward? Exquisite Handmade Confections http://www.tr...

7. WHAT DOES THE FCC SAYS ABOUT HARSH FOUL Languages On AM Radio   (28 Oct 2008)
Yesterday on my way ome from work I happen to tune in WSCR by accident and heard a handfull of awful harsh languages over the airwaves at around 5pm or so. it was the Boers and Bernstein show the words they used were: ---- Sucker, Mother F, ---hole, F-head, C--t, Dumb N and up your hole. What if some small child who has a pocket radio and tuned in to that station and listen to those words over the airwaves, and brought that language home to his or her family at the dinner table and said all thos...

8. lubalox vs moly fouling?   (07 Dec 2008)
I've been thinking about setting up my 30.06 with 168 ballistic silvertips for next year. I read the following comparison on the winchester website (oh really, your brand is best....), but I am interested in hearing some firsthand experiences? any pointers? Lubalox Coating * Black Oxide * First used in early 1990 * Does not increase diameter of bullet * Used on AccuBond CT, Ballistic Silvertip, E-tip and XP3 product lines * Does not harm barrel * Reduces barrel fouling * Does not require barrel...

9. [Chron]Rockets appeals tech foul on Artest, also on Howard's trip on Yao   (01 Nov 2008)
Lock if already posted. I'm very glad that the team is doing something about these two things that occured last game. Shows we're not just going to let it go like this. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl...kn/6089422.html The Rockets are appealing the technical foul that forward Ron Artest received in the fourth quarter against the Mavericks on Thursday, and will also provide the NBA with video of Dallas forward Josh Howard apparently tripping Yao Ming earlier in the game, Rockets general manag...

10. 86 205r fouling plugs at 32:1 with golden spectro   (25 Nov 2008)
Ok, Now I know this topic has been talked to death, but the one thing everybody tends to agree on is that they run somewhere close to 32:1 fuel mixture with a synthetic type of oil. This bike is new to me as are two-strokes entirely, and beleive me, I do ride hard, so it is not like I am loading the thing up just putting around. However I am getting large amounts of oil coming out of the base connection from the pipe to the head, and the plugs are soaked, went through 3 plugs this weekend. Now,...
