Well, the Wii has been relatively disappointing this year, even Brawl got boring for me after a couple of months, and No More Heroes was the only other game this year that I liked. I've been thinking about getting a 360, but I don't wanna spend too much, considering I only got the Wii for Christmas last year, and I'm unsure if I want to spend a large sum of money so soon. ...very few game companies actually LISTEN to their fans.
I think a good example of a video game company that LISTENS to it's fans is Insomniac. Think about this for a second: When the first three Ratchet and Clank games came out, we enjoyed them a lot. Then Deadlocked came in, and fans quickly went disappointed. Insomniac listened, and made Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, which had all the same elements of the original three games. Then we were happy again.

Thinking about Fall 2009 games

Fall usually being the time when Microsoft release their big games.
Halo 3 Recon got me thinking. It's got a fall 2009 release date and it's just an expansion according to Bungie and they would price it as such but not really up to them. Anyway, the big game or is it ?
Would Microsoft count that as their flagship Holiday 2009 title ?

Thinking about buying a Wii...

I'm thinking about buying a Wii in the next few weeks and I was wondering what everyone here thought about it. I don't mean a fan boy opinion of "omg itz the greaatest console evarrr," but a serious pros and cons look at the system. Also, if you can give me an idea of what good games are out for it that could help. I already have a PS3 and Xbox 360 so it would be nice to complete my collection. Can I even find one around the holidays?

- Where's a Cubone get its skull if you breed a male Cubone/Marowak with a Ditto? I mean, Cubones in nature are born with the skull of its dead mother... who is still alive, unless every female Cubone dies upon giving birth.
- How do male only and female only pokemon reproduce in areas without Ditto?
- Why don't evil companies like Team Rocket use GOOD Pokemon like Charizards, Alakazam, etc. instead of an army of rats and weak poison types?...

Need reviews/opinions on DS games for kids!?

I'm buying my 5 year old son a Nintendo DS for Christmas. (He turns 6 a week after Christmas.) I'm thinking about getting him the following games:
Spore Creatures, Diddy Kong Racing, Lego Indiana Jones, and Mario Kart. There are also a couple versions of Sonic, Spongebob, and Pokemon games that looked cute.
Would you recommend these for an almost-6 year old boy? He has very basic reading skills, so I don't know how advanced these games would be for him, if they have on-screen directions, or if t...
