1. Our all-Christmas options... What are your opinions?   (10 Dec 2008)
A discussion for fans of the all-Christmas format... WNUW-  Who is programming this thing?!  After a shaky start during which they spun the tiniest playlist for way too long, 97.5 has completely knocked my socks off.  I think they may have more titles in rotation than B101 which is surprising considering they're the new kid on the block.  Somehow their rotation of tried-and-true titles is just clicking and flowing better than what I'm hearing from the other guys.  Perhaps it's because they've ma...

4. screwed up teeth   (22 Nov 2008)
Ok, I know looks don't matter and all that, but nobody wants to kiss someone with messed up teeth. My front teeth are crooked and yellow and when I bite down, there are gaping holes between my upper and lower jaw. My dentist said I'll probably have to wear braces for 2 years, which made me cringe as I am in college and that would hamper my game... I know people wear them in their 30's but this would be a pretty big setback imo. What are your guys' thoughts on wearing braces, any opinions would b...

6. Gay Las Vegas   (30 Nov 2008)
I ended up in a gay club in Las Vegas last weekend (for the first time, believe it or not) and I found it rather intimidating. I wasn't really bothered about going in the first place - the three straight guys I was with thought it would be a laugh, and I suppose it was. I don't know how I imagined it, but it was very different lol.. The first thing I noticed was that general atmosphere. A lot of people standing around in groups, gaping at people. Two of us had kilts on, which doesn't help the ga...

7. Can you imagine how uber it would be if Casio made a "proper" G-Shock Diving...   (26 Nov 2008)
The reason I bring this up is that now Casio seems to be embracing the idea that G-Shocks do not have to exlcusivelty be digital watches. That move has taken some time... but here we are in 2008 with many exceptional analog only G-Shocks. The MTG-1000 The Geiz GS-1100 The new MRG 8000 The move into non digitals seems to have been met with in-market sucess so they are probably here to stay. And now... with the advent of Tough Movement.... Casio seems poised to now branch out its selection into a...

8. do de do *brushes off pant wrinkles*   (21 Nov 2008)
I supose i should feel something from the mass trasnfers, and for the fact that no one will probubly read this thread ever, and even if some one does it will be months down the road by some mystical transferer because wouldnt you know it SoM was picked to recieve the xtra helping of green beans that no one ever wants. Or should i say that everyone wants but dosnt take. No thats not it, ummm...The xtra helping of refried beans...hmm the xtra helping of peas and tatortots. What ever the xtra helpi...

9. Gordon Kirby Finally Discovers the Obvious   (29 Dec 2008)
In one of his articles, he has to have a German colleague confirm the fact that the .1rl cars sound like crap and are 20 years out of date. I guess the hardcore American ChampCar fans opinions are not good enough for him or any racing media writer, since we have been saying the same thing since 1997; 12 freakin' years!! http://www.gordonkirby.com/categorie..._is_no164.html Quote: : Last summer my colleague Michael Schmidt of Germany's Auto Motor und Sport magazine made a rare visit to an IRL rac...

10. Combo found in T2!   (21 Dec 2008)
Remember Project 420.5n? I'm trying to make a deck with the same idea, but need suggestions. The core right now is essentially this: Deck  4 Nantuko Husk 4 Scuzzback Marauders 4 Bramblewood Paragon 4 Boggart Shenanigans and/or 4 Hissing Iguanar So, if you haven't seen it, you sacrifice Marauders to Husk which triggers either Shenanigans or the Lizard, and your Goblin Warrior persists back, its -1/-1 counter being canceled by awesome Elf dude. You can then infi out ftw. This combo I'm pretty sure...
