Thinking about getting into the business,I need some very honest opinions...
(26 Oct 2008)
Hello, I have a very good and extensive history in sales.I am very good with people and deal with the public everyday. I am thinking about getting into this business on my own full time from scratch.I have been in the business before working in the St Louis area for about 3 years. I had a great time and the guy I worked for made very good money. The STL area was very good. I now live in Georgia. I have done a little homework around the area to see what kind of residential market I would have out...

Thinking about moving to Japan, need some opinions.
(03 Nov 2008)
Hello everyone, I'm new here, but I'm looking for some input.
I'll try not to go into great detail of the events of my life that have gotten me to this point, I don't want to bore everyone. So I'm 21 years old, college didn't work out for me after high school for various reasons. So here I am now, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, and over the past month I've been seriously considering going to school in Japan.
Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to do certain things, I...

RRFF Review - something to think about
(10 Oct 2008)
This post is not going to make me the most popular bloke on here, but sharing opinions and providing information is the greater purpose of this website so Ill have a crack.
As an Ausfisher (with a background in science) I was at one of the recent RRFF meetings and was astonished with the way the DPI&F estimates of recreational catch and the varying estimates of the stock assessment (5 estimates ranging from conservative to less conservative) were immediately discounted as fudged figures and ...

If you are thinking about a Nissen...
(16 Oct 2008)
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but I've been following you guys for over a year. Here are my story and some of my thoughts.
If you are contemplating a Nissen fundoplication, think very carefully about how badly you really need it. If your symptoms are well controlled (or just moderately-well controlled) with a PPI (e.g., Nexium, Prilosec, Aciphex, etc.), consider staying on the drugs and foregoing surgery. It is true that there are side effects from these drugs--possible osteoporosis down the road, B...

Something to think about
(11 Nov 2008)

From Dan Denning at the Old Hat Factory:
--"Shares may slip as U.S. mood gets darker," reports Allison
Jackson in today's Australian. Indeed. We've had some dark
days in the last year here at the Old Hat Factory. But for
whatever reason, today is one of the darkest that we can
recall.
--Here's a warning. Today's Daily Reckoning is largely about
the growing tension between individual liberty and the
coercive powe...

My group and I are thinking about attending this con.
What makes CC fun and a great con? What are the most fun activities? How is the experience? Is it a con you would highly recommend?

What you think about Jungle Fury
(29 Oct 2008)
Self-explanatory. Since Jungle Fury has ended I would like to know your opinion on the show. For me it was great but it had more potential.

Thinking about moving to the central coast...Avoca
(30 Oct 2008)
Hello, hubby and I and our 18 month old are pondering a move from Sydney to the central coast (where I grew up...many moons ago!). We kind of like the Avoca area as it seems to have a lovely community feel (not to mention the beach) - but this is of course based on visiting and not actually living there.
To that end, I'd be interested in hearing from people from up that way who have an opinion (good or bad) on what it's like to live there. For example, is it a complete nightmare at holiday times...

Thinking about a 85 K100
(16 Nov 2008)
Thinking about a 85 K100 I've got a 76 R90/6 and a guy I know is selling a 85 K100 for $1800. It looks like it is in pretty good shape, I don't know anything about k bikes. Will this bike offer more problems than I'm use to, and will I be disappointed after having such a great time with my airhead.

Approaching launch and thinking about installing CB1.2
(05 Sep 2008)
I have Joomla 1.5.6 and phpBB 3.0.2 hooked up with the bridge but am thinking about installing CB1.2 before I go live so I don't have to deal with migration later on. I can live with having different profiles on the Joomla/CB side and the phpBB side. So is the primary issue to redirect registration and pw changes from phpBB back over to Joomla?
I have the DirectPHP extension installed in Joomla but otherwise it is core.. Is there maybe like a top five things to look out for when integrating thes...
