what do u think about having planes in alan wake?
(21 Oct 2008)
what do u think about having planes in alan wake? i think they should have some float planes and maybe graveled run ways with another plane, my reason is with this game having the largest mapped area in all gaming( i think) their should be planes, people might not like planes, well then don't use them if u don't want to. because thousands of people love planes and thousnads don't. if alan wake has a plane in it, then i bet tons of people will think the game has it all. not everyone likes planes,...

RRFF Review - something to think about
(10 Oct 2008)
This post is not going to make me the most popular bloke on here, but sharing opinions and providing information is the greater purpose of this website so Ill have a crack.
As an Ausfisher (with a background in science) I was at one of the recent RRFF meetings and was astonished with the way the DPI&F estimates of recreational catch and the varying estimates of the stock assessment (5 estimates ranging from conservative to less conservative) were immediately discounted as fudged figures and ...

If you are thinking about a Nissen...
(16 Oct 2008)
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but I've been following you guys for over a year. Here are my story and some of my thoughts.
If you are contemplating a Nissen fundoplication, think very carefully about how badly you really need it. If your symptoms are well controlled (or just moderately-well controlled) with a PPI (e.g., Nexium, Prilosec, Aciphex, etc.), consider staying on the drugs and foregoing surgery. It is true that there are side effects from these drugs--possible osteoporosis down the road, B...

Can't stop thinking about having a ONS
(15 Nov 2008)
This is going to sound so daft and stupid but I can't help it, emotions arent logical I guess.
For a couple of days I cant stop thinking about having a ONS. I dont really know why. I've been single for about a month now and I just keep thinking that a ONS is some kind of experience I should be having or should go through. I dont know why exactly I should be having this experience and who says I should be having a ONS.
Thing is, I just know I wouldnt enjoy it and it would probably leave me feelin...

Thinking about getting a Nautilus
(16 Nov 2008)
I have been racking my brains over how to keep my son safe if he had to ride with his grandparents. It may never even happen but it is something I need to think about. My son is 4.5 and rides FT in a Como. But I am thinking about trying to sell it for a Nautilus because it converts to a booster. I like this because my MIL is unable to buckle my son in his current seat. And I believe she could do a seatbelt with her arthritis. If she can't - should my son be able to do his own harness and/or seat...

Already thinking about having another baby?
(20 Oct 2008)
Is anyone else thinking about when they want to start trying for another baby? DH and I are already starting to talk about when I'll go off birth control and then how long we'll just DTD before we actually try (had to actually try for 6 months with DS and 4 months with this LO). Some people think I'm crazy because I haven't even gotten this one out yet but I'm thinking about this time next year I'll want to get pregnant again. Am I the only one thinking about this or are there other women out th...

Thinking about having an affair -
(08 Nov 2008)
Nah, kiddin'. But there's this girl I'm pals with from up the country. She's having a bit of the ol' How's your father? with the buddy. Now, she's semi-engaged to some muck savage, and all her friends are totally harshing her mellow about it.
I know several lads who routinely bag everything around them with the wife/gf at home and nothing's said, even by female friends. It's mad, the girls reckon the lads are dogs, but say absolutely nothing... This imbalance is madness. Girls, it's not the Patr...

Think about your momma, before you have sex..
(12 Nov 2008)
Teens and parents of teens:
This perpetual problem of teens having unprotected sex and getting pregnant, blowing up your parent's lives has got to stop.
It's not fair to 35-50 year-old parents, who have worked hard all their lives, only to be grounded from taking vacations, having "lazy days off", buying that fur coat momma deserves, going for their master's degree at nite, etc, etc, etc - because YOU need momma to drop off, pick up YOUR child from school, cook for it, watch the child on weekend...

Something to think about
(11 Nov 2008)

From Dan Denning at the Old Hat Factory:
--"Shares may slip as U.S. mood gets darker," reports Allison
Jackson in today's Australian. Indeed. We've had some dark
days in the last year here at the Old Hat Factory. But for
whatever reason, today is one of the darkest that we can
recall.
--Here's a warning. Today's Daily Reckoning is largely about
the growing tension between individual liberty and the
coercive powe...
