Landing from UK at EWR, 1 night precruise out of Bayonne HOTEL OPINIONS PLEASE...

First time out of Bayonne. We [me, partner, 17yr daughter, my arthritic mum!] are flying into EWR on Sat 4 April 09, landing 1.20pm day before the cruise so whilst not planning on doing the major touristy thing this is my plan of attack:
Looking at hotels in Newark [dont really have time or money to do NYC] and have considered Hilton on the Hudson. Bit more money than usual pre-cruise hotel, but as it is on the Hudson with views of Statue and Liberty Island, at least we get a feel of being v nea...

What are your opinions on staying at an airport hotel?

Hi, everyone! I'm excited to say I'm going back to London soon. But I have a dilemma now I booked the air tickets.
I booked 8:30 am tickets this time because the evening ones were all so much more expensive. And to make it worse, I'll be coming home on a Sunday. I already checked the time table and the earliest train from my station to LHR is around 7, which would not work.
So this is my dilemma...
Should I just take the cab to LHR on Sunday? Or should I move to an airport hotel on Saturday nigh...

Opinions on Hotel Entertainer/Animator job

Hey!
I plan to work as a hotel entertainer/animator.The hotel animator lives in one hotel and entertains the tourists.He makes funshows and chats with the tourists.
I think it would be fun and a good way to imporve my social skills.
However I am not sure whether if it is an attractive job for the girls or not.
Maybe it's a little bit dancing monkeysh.Altough its quite alpha.
What is your opinion on the pull level of this job:P??

New York City hotels?

We went to NY in 2003 and had a wonderful hotel near the United Nations building but next time we want to be nearer Times Square. So my question is can you recommend any nice 4* plus hotels in that area? Looked on Trip Advisor but want some expereinced Disser's opinions.

Hotel recommendations in Vancouver & Anchorage

Does anyone have any recommendations on hotels in Vancouver or Anchorage. Will be spending one night in each city, starting in Vancouver. Considering the Captain Cook in Anchorage, any opinions? I prefer hotels comparable to Marriott. Would like to be centrally located to squeeze in one day of siteseeing. Thanks

Hey, I'm planning a trip to Vegas and want to know the opinions on the hotel. My plan is to stay at the Bellagio, but if anyone has a better idea, I'm open.

By the way: food is VERY IMPORTANT! I love seafood and steak.

Banff forum: Hotel Options in mid December

Ok, so me and some friends would like to stay in a hotel in or around banff for a night. We are looking for a hotel with a kitchenette, clean and has an atmosphere of yound adults (19-25). Distance from banff is not really an issue (ie. hotels located on Tunnel Mountain).
As well, any one know of any bars/clubs that are lively? We are thinking about going in mid December. We have been to the Aurora nightclub...and thats an either hit or miss. Last year there was nobody there.
Anyone have any tho...

We are four Irish lads going to Munich for a weekend of fun and frolics and have reserved rooms in the Novotel Hotel. We are wondering whether this is a good choice regarding location.We normally book 4 star hotels and this seems a good option. Any opinions or suggestions would be great.Thanks
