This is not a criticism at all, it's a lead in to a question. And before any one jumps on me, YES, I realize I should worry about finishing first, it's just general curiosity; I write and hope to one day have something published, but if it never happens, the writing still won't stop.

So hubby comes homes with his iphone pics in hand. He had to go to Wai's and pick up some fittings for the sump room, and saw something to cheer me up.

Reality-TV

Just watched the interview via youtube where Morrissey shares his opinion about reality-TV among other things. He really nails the point threre about how this reality TV-show crap that has invaded our televisions (Idol, Talent, Big Brother.. etc.) is based on humiliation of the contenders. The point of this thread (I think) is to ask you soloers, does anybody here actually watch/enjoy these kind of shows?

I was reading Exodus, and I came across the part where the Israelites were worshiping the gold calf (which moses then killed). And i thought to myself, man, im sure glad I have never worshiped false idols. Then it hit me, what does idol worship really mean?

I was just wondering how many people have serious differences with their parents/family over religious choices. I for one have a wall between myself and my preacher father because I know that his views are immovable and I know all of them, yet this subject is so interesting to me that when we are together I have to limit my discussions to the weather, sports, and American Idol (don't crash on me for this, I am a singer and I like to critique singers, really!)

I didn't know where else to say this and maybe there has already been a topic about this, but I just went ahead and made one.
I just read the really interesting interview with Oda (OP) and Toriyama (DB) (OP and DB both influenced my life, I can't say how much, but I was at least a very big fan of DBZ when I was small and now I'm a big fan of OP, so yeah it's cool.). I did not vote for President-Elect Obama.
As a matter of fact, I really can't stand his policies. I disagree with him on many fundamental principles. However, he carried himself well enough to win over the hearts of more than 50% of the population.
I believe it is in my best interests as an American and as a person to give Obama my support.

America in End times prophecy something I noticed....

Let me preface this with saying I could totally be wrong about this, but something just clicked with me tonight. It has always bothered me that America isn't mentioned in end times prophecy considering just how important it has been in the last century, not to mention being Israel's strongest ally.
