I heard my Christian wife tell the kids recently that the Adam and Eve story symbolically illustrates man's imperfection, so I started thinking about Jesus' supposed perfection. Who decided Jesus was the Messiah? If it is clear that he is in fact the Messiah mentioned in the OT why does Judaism say this is incorrect? If it is not clear why is Christianity so sure it is correct?
