Do you beleive Joba Chamberlain is better suited for the rotation or the bullpen?
In my opinion, I beleive Joba is better suited to go back into the pen. His inability to throw strikes is a concern if he is indeed plugged...

Joba for Kazmir, WHIR
(25 Oct 2008)
Keeper league, standard roto scoring. I have Kaz and another owner wants to get Joba off his roster (BoSox fan who wants to rid his roster of Yankees). So I guess my question is would Joba be an improvement, downgrade or a wash when compared to Kazmir?
Thanks in advance, and leave a link if you would like an opinion on an issue of your own.

Joba for Atkins, WHIR
(15 Nov 2008)
Keeper league (7 players), 6x6 roto.
I'm on the verge of acquiring Longo, so Atkins will become expendable. I'm looking to get my keeper set to 4 bats and 3 arms...Joba would be joining
Hanley
Chutley
Sizemore
Rios
Felix
Webb
So right now Atkins is in that keeper mix, but could be replaced by Longo. I think I'd slide Rios out of the keeper core if I were to acquire Joba.
What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance, and leave a link if you'd like an opinion on an issue of your own. Reds Night Out

Most Popular on PSD: Lincecum or Joba ??? this thread will probably be closed, and i will be scolded by the PSD gods...but i am curious about your opinions....
no matter what thread i am in or no matter what topic...i ALWAYS see Lincecum or Joba mentioned in some way for some reason.
(also, if you attempt to move this to the "Comparisons" forum, it will self-destruct and cause chaos)

Keeper Dilemma only 8
(24 Nov 2008)
WHIR
10 team H2H 6x6 keeping 8 adding OPS and losses with daily changes and 2 UT spots.
1B: Fielder
2B: Utley
2B: Kinsler
SS: Hanley Ramirez
3B: Wright
OF: Bay, Quentin
SP: Halladay
RP: Papelbon
Someone must be left behind
Already eliminated Liriano/Joba/Harden/Sheets/Fuentes/BJRyan/Rivera and Bobby Abreu
Was thinking about packaging a 2B, but with Utley out til June, I think Kinsler stays. Utley will be a nice midseason UTIL upgrade; or Kinsler gets me a stud SP this summer.
With Bay returning...

Sheets or Pettitte as Plan B?
(25 Nov 2008)
http://zellspinstripeblog.com/2008/1...tte-as-plan-b/
I was reading this from the Yankees Official Website and I was thinking about it myself. What if the Yankees cant land C.C., Burnett, or Lowe? The chances arent very good that they dont get any of the three, but you never know..and it is fun to think about. What would they do? The Yankee faithful would definitely go nuts over it. Bring back Pettitte..okay, but thats not enough. Bring in Sheets as well?
That could be a rotation like: Wang-...

The truth about 'work' from home!
(21 Dec 2008)
Joba is right. If you can get a company to give you work to take home, then you are legitamitely 'working from home' and can expect to get paid. EVERYONE else offering 'home working opportunities' online is a scam, ripoff, or whatever else you want to call them. I know. I used to be one of them. It's a horrible thing to do, especially in this economy, and the main reason I got out. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT respond to an ad online offering 'home working opportunities' or 'business opportunitie...

Keepers giving me headaches. HELP!!
(26 Oct 2008)
I can figure out the headache part, with an aspirin or two solving that. That is, until I start thinking about who to keep for '09 and who to release to the draft. My problem is that I can keep seven guys, but I believe I have more than seven keeper-quality players to consider. If it makes any difference, I also will be holding the 13th and 20th picks in the draft in 2009. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated and deeply contemplated. Now...
First, I play in a 16-team H2H league, with s...

09 Yankees starting lineup and rotation
.
(25 Dec 2008)
http://zellspinstripeblog.com/2008/1...-and-rotation/
The 2009 starting lineup is going to be better then last year. There is no doubt about it. We all can say this guy is going to get injured..blah blah blah, but the truthis nobody really knows what will happen. As of now everyone looks to be healthy and ready for the 2009 season. The constant injuries last season made the run production drop last year, and I just dont see that happening again. The horrible hitting display with runners in scor...

Haren, Broxton for Krod, Shields, Danks WHIR
(17 Oct 2008)
thats the deal. its a 10 team h2h DYNASTY league, we keep all players every year...this was the first full year. the rosters are set at 30 and we have a 2 round draft now every year for free agents and rookies in the yahoo player pool. i had a similar 3 team deal that would have landed me peavy but the peavy owner backed out at the last minute. i'm trying to acquire an ace pitcher before the deadline (end of WS) because my team lacks that. what do u guys think about this deal...haren is an ace p...
