Lightning/Thunder - opinions

After hearing about people out fishing last night, what's everyones' opinion?
We were out by the crib yesterday afternoon, when some lightning hit pretty close. I pretty much said, "Time to Go!" I've fished in storms, rains, you name it, but I draw the line with thunder & lightning. I always figured a boat is big target for lightning - pretty much the only target out there, and it wasn't good to stay out.
What's everbody elses thoughts?

OK, so here's what we've figured out today...
We swapped the IAC, MAP sensor, bypassed the Jacobs, even swapped out the O2 sensor. Nothing make a difference, not even a little bit.
What we did figure out is the motor does not like the advanced timing. Pulling the spout, with the timing @ 10* and it ran perfect. Turn the timing up to 15*, 20* it ran perfect. Get up to about 25* and higher and it starts surging. This was all done at idle.

To sum up one aspect, it mentioned that the destruction of the world had something to do with Red Lightning. I have some questions regarding lightning protection for a LNG facility,I am a fresh graduate and don't worry I am not designing the project but still I want to know some stuff.

hi there!
i'm thinking about building a lvl 11 wizard, choosing lots of thunder & lightning attacks and stormsoul genasi as race. promise of storm just rocks bad.^^
i know the +2 str are basically wasted, but apart from that, you think it's a good choice?
i was gonna take "war wizard of cormyr" as paragon, because the powers you get there are lightning.^^ what do you think? any other paragon path better?

Looking into Optimizing Lightning Mace [Style] (CW)

Just looking into a way to optimize the lightning mace style. I saw Mighty Wallop, Greater (RoD, p115), which is more than interesting @ 20th caster level. Increases the damage from 1d6 to 6d6.
Now how do you increase the threat range as much as possible? I am not so concerned about increasing the critical multiplier, but that is also something to think about.
Earth Hammer (RoS, p162) is another interesting spell that could work in conjunction... makes the damage 8d6 instead...

Outlook 2007 versus Thunderbird with Lightning

I felt that his warranted it's own thread as opposed to asking in the Windows megathread. Anyways, my new graphics card will be here tomorrow and I am going to format (because I need to anyways).
