Thinking about adopting a dog
(12 Dec 2008)
My daughter has been wearing us out for a Puppy for the past couple months...she says that all she wants for Christmas is a puppy (her Christmas list has the puppy, and then pretty much just stuff related to a dog...IE - new collar, dog toys, rawhide bones, etc.).
Anyways, the wife and I are not against it, we're big fans of Border Collies, and our current Female (Arrow) is a great dog....I think she'd do good with a companion too....but we are not at all excited about raising a puppy, especiall...

What do you THINK about THIS.... Ok, I am really not sure how I get on all these mailing lists. I am constantly unsubscribing to things....but anyway I have gotten emails with info on "NAIS". Here is the latest one.

I am thinking about listing some collector plates
(23 Nov 2008)
They've been stored in the back bedroom closet where I had the rain damage. The rain did not get into the closet.
The boxes are kinda funky smelling and old looking. You know how old boxes smell. The plates and paperwork are in like new condition.
Should I list them without the box? Or state the condition of the box and let the buyer decide if they want the box?

Things to Think about when "Strategically Slaying"
(26 Dec 2008)
After browsing and reading the forums for a very long time, Its come to my attention that slaying has become a bit misunsderstood. Many times people think that the main slayers like Neighbor and Snipedown are good because of their "sick Br's" and "Nasty Snipe", when thats really only part of it. Nasty Snipe and Sick BR are things that are expected when slaying, sort of like when one plays tennis, its expected they can aim the ball and hit where they want appropriately. The hard part is the strat...

what do you think about paying for directory listing?
(04 Dec 2008)
Hi,
I'm just curious about what people think about paying to have their websites listed in link directories?
For example...
http://www.semwebservices.net/directory_submission .html
http://www.pageranksubmit.com/?gclid=CNWtv5TEp5cCF RJ4xgodF1D_Uw
http://www.seobuilding.com/directory-submissions/? gclid=CNaK3YzFp5cCFQGbnAodp2HG1g
Do you think that helps drive your traffic? Promote you a little? Have you ever used a service like this? Does anybody think that services like these are complete and tot...

From Dan Denning at the Old Hat Factory:
--"Shares may slip as U.S. mood gets darker," reports Allison
Jackson in today's Australian. Indeed. We've had some dark
days in the last year here at the Old Hat Factory. But for
whatever reason, today is one of the darkest that we can
recall.
--Here's a warning. Today's Daily Reckoning is largely about
the growing tension between individual liberty and the
coercive powe...
