If you have been following the CMG Contributor's thread—probably not the best place to discuss a forthcoming Meet-Up—then you know there is substantial interest in such an event.
Since the original idea came from our dear Canadian friend, Henry Slofstra, we hope he will be involved again. Werner Isler, our esteemed long-time CMGer will be coordinating things again.
We will need to select a month that is convenient for everyone (February 2008 was our last meet-up), then select probably a weekend...

Auto Accident in Louisiana

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Louisiana
Three weeks ago, I was in an auto accident that was not my fault. The driver of the other vehicle (which was a company truck, by the way) wasn't local & didn't realize he was on a one-way street (which is 2 lanes). He attempted to make a left-hand turn from the right lane & ended up running into me in the left lane.
I actually have two concerns...

ive been living in Louisiana and Florida, USA my whole life. i finally got my family back together (my mother and sister) and i wanna take us somewhere far away to live.
im 19 ya kno, been on my own for awhile. i wanna be somewhere where i can still do my thing ya kno? but i also want it 2 b straight 4 my younger sister (16) and my mother (45)

This morning is going to bad here in Michigan and elsewhere. By now you may know that most foreign automakers are located in Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc.
The Big3 make honorable contributions when hurricanes roll through these Gulf states yet look at the contributions Toyota, Honda and Nissan made after 9/11. $0.00. They made nothing. One of them did actually make a public condolences statement.
