Tonight, I had to do a few errands. While filling up the car with gas, I noticed a tire needed some air in it. So, I waited to use the air machine and began to think how nice it would be if hubby could do this for me. It is now about 20 degrees colder than it was at lunch time, and windy, very windy and raining. And it looked to low to wait until morning.

So, I've noticed that I constantly think about, and sometimes miss, my ex-boyfriend that I broke up with 4 years ago! Is this normal?? We were together for 2 years, and lived together for about 6 months (I wasn't living my faith back then...mostly because of him). Thinking about buying

Ive heard from a few friends at work that there has been a price increase for rifles, ammo, etc... Ive heard others say that the price increase is only for selected rifles.
Im wanting to purchase a Savage bolt action so my question is are the prices that I find on most of the on-line stores/sites going to stay the same or have they increased and I missed it ? And if the prices are higher then does anyone believe I would be better off waiting until Feb/March or possible later to see if the prices...

My thinking About Pro Tools

I bought PTMP in June of 2007. Since then I have upgraded and can't wait for version 8. I use a M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R. I love it. It sounds great. The pre-amps are very, very good.
I bought this to record my band in house and do all the tracking ourselves, taking our time and doing it slowely so we get it just the way we want it.
Then if we decide to take it to a Pro studio that uses PT we could mix and master there. My thinking was that would save us a ton of money.
Studio time in a GOOD...

I was totally looking forward to my first apa meet up with Kia and Tif....
We were planning on meeting between 10-10:30 at a restaurant called Wings, which is one town over from me (normally a 20 min drive) WELL I got there at 10:45 because of a santa clause parade that was slowing all traffic down I get there and the restaurant is closed!! It doesnt open till 11. ...so I hang around for a little while kicking myself for not grabbing Kia's number...and make my way home.
They ended up going acros...

25 Caliber - Think About It

More and more it seems to me that hunters - ESPECIALLY varmint/deer hunters - are seriously missing a great bet by listening to the "traditional knowledge" about the quarterbores.
Like many calibers - all you have to do is mention the .250 Savage, or the .257 Roberts, or the .25/06 - and most of us can predict how the conversation will play out. And as usual... some of it will be right - some will be wrong, and, in the case of the quarterbore, a lot will be missed.

Some of you may remember my other thread, where I was asking about Durham, NC city police having to reinvestigate my background because the initial background investigator didn't do a thorough job. Because of this, they couldn't consider me for the academy in August, and am now waiting to hear if I'll be hired for the February 09 academy.
Cliff Notes: I applied in Feb. of 08 in hopes of getting into an Aug. academy. Had to have my background redone for above reasons, and am currently waiting to...
