New macbook or macbook pro?

Hey guys, i am thinking about getting a macbook and its one of those deals that have a limited time offer...
my choices are either the 2.4ghz macbook or the 2.4ghz macbook pro
other than the screen size and upgraded video card, are there any reasons to pick the MBP over the standard macbook?
i have a 13.3" xps1330 right now so the smaller screen is not a problem. even the regular macbook would provide me with better performance than i have right now.

Thinking about getting new macbook...
Hey, I am thinking about getting the new 13" macbook 2.4ghz.. But I cant really decide if I should get a macbook, macbook pro, or even stick with my current laptop.
I am a Computer programmer student, so I deal mainly with windows for visual studio (Have OSx on my Desktop though, and use it mainly.. so not new to OS X).
I would be doing a bootcamp install for windows and use visual studio there... Also thinking of using ether parallels or vmware to run off...

I NEED ADVICE
I have a problem: I told my brother to buy me a laptop: I said "please buy the 1599 USD Macbook" I meant the new aluminum 2.4Ghz 2GB DDR3 Ram Macbook. He arrived from his trip today and he gave the laptop to me: It is the previous gen Macbook Pro, he bought it new from bestbuy at 1599 USD; I don't know what to do!! I still haven't opened it! Should I return it and get the new 13 inch macbook? Should I keep the 15 inch Macbook pro?

I'm in a bit of a pickle as to what to buy and would like to hear some opinions please.
I have £1300 to blow on a new computer purchase. I recently got the MBP and returned 2 of them because of vertical backlight bleeding problems at the bottom of the screen. Anyway, I'm typing this from my work macbook white and although the screen is a bit more washed out than the pro, it's OK. However it's an old model with only 512mb of RAM and an Intel GMA950

Hi there.
Question:
Which one should I buy, new MacBook 13.3" or new MacBook Pro 15.4"?
I'm planning to bring it to office and using it as a my main computer at home.
I think processing capacity of both is really no problem(I'm doing PHP programming(at office and home) and some Photoshop, compose music(at home)),
but I'm really worrying about is screen size and portability.
There are no problem when I'm at office cause I will use external display.
But how are the screen size(Is too small to use...

Hello everyone just wanted to ask some opinions about a war that's been going on in my head for a little while now.
Before the new year I'm going to be purchasing an apple laptop, but I'm not sure whether to go for the new unibody mb or the old(2.5ghz) mbp. both have their ups and downs for me, including firewire, screen size, resale value, speed, expansion, and style.
I will be using this for (possibly)video editting, animation, gaming, and regular school work.
any advice or on-hand experience...
