So I was watching Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel last night (one of my favorite shows). One of their feature stories was about Andrew Lawson, a high school teenager with Down syndrome. I can understand how people who hail from religious traditions of Christianity such as Roman Catholicism and others that base their beliefs on tradition AND the Bible could object to sexual practices then the ones' proscribed for them by the Pope or tradition. But I never could understand how Christian traditions that base their theology on "Sola Scritora" or The Bible alone, could condemn a wide variety of sexual practices.

Ok, so this is partially prompted by Retro's post about "Slumdog Millionaire" and his having recently rented The Kite Runner. I saw "Slumdog Millionaire" about two weeks ago and thought that it was a fantastic movie and was pleasantly surprised by it. I had been drug off to it because a certain female companion was dying to see it and told me it was a romance/comedy (obviously she had no clue what the hell it was). When do you think anime will become more mainstream?

The anime market has hit it's peak and isn't going to get more popular than it did in previous years. Showing on TV that isn't ABC, FOX, or other major station isn't improving the popularity either.
Since the view of animation in the U.S is never going to change or going to change incredibly slowly, either for good or bad. IMHO, the only path that I can see is to have good or above average live adaptations of anime.
Speed Racer was decent but the success was hampered by many factors. Transformer...

I'm currently exploring non-paintball sponsorships and don't know where to go from there.

Thinking about buying a Tanaka

THB-260PF. How does it compare from a performance standpoint against the stihl sh-85 and echo es-230? I will need the vacuum/shredder attachment as well.
I have never owned a Tanaka and considering one. Reasons why I am reluctant to buy it:
No local dealers. Well I called 3. One never returned phone call with price, another had almost no idea what I was talking about. Still waiting on call back from 3rd. I can only assume dealer support is non-existent.
Price. More expensive than the other 2 bra...
