Hello all.
I posted a thread about wearing hijab a few weeks back and got a lot of support. I've been thinking deeply about converting to Islam, but I have a few questions that are making me hesitate. Any help and guidance would be wonderful.
First of all, would it be offensive to try a sort of trial-run before I make shahada? Like, doing the daily prayers and reading the Qur'an before deciding anything.
Also, I'm a very musical person. Is music prohibitted in Islam? I've found answers both for...

Hello. I'm a 21 y/o female college student today was my first time voting. I'm also black. Well, I got the booklet published by the league of women voters for my state studied it. I used it to help me make my decisions. I always told myself that I didn't want to belong to any political party b/c I should use my own heart mind think for myself. Even after long deliberation, I still wound up voting for all democrats even the propositions I voted democratically and didn't even realize it until I go...

Thinking about Candle making - confused about melting safely

I was checking out the very small candle making section at our local Michaels and I saw a pouring container like this http://www.michaels.com/online/artic...e=as0096d9.jpg
In the other pictures on this page http://www.michaels.com/art/online/d...icleNum=as0096 they show it being placed directly on a burner. Is that safe? Or should it be placed within another pot?

Ever notice how Mexican carry is so comfy, but the gun won't stay put?

I personally do not like what they are doing. They always get desperate and make the wrong moves. I know they trying to make some space for future contracts (Lebron, Wade or Bosh) but I doubt that their respective teams wont resign them. I just dont sense anything good happening for the knicks and it pisses me off at the level of patience of their management. I could be wrong but thats just what I think

I got a olddd crappy green bmx what i don't use anymore you think it would be possible to moatna 49cc mini moto engine on it?? i really need some help because ive been told it's possible, i just need to find an engine with a clutch and attach it to chain and get fuel tank and things ??

Regurldess, I'll continue posting the item for spikes, but if the clan si made I'll limit it to clan members.
