I had heard a lot about how great this comic was around the time of the announced cancellation. So when I saw the first trade in the 50% off bin, I jumped at the opportunity to read it.
However, I actually found the first trade to be a little disappointing. It wasn't that the book was bad or wasn't enjoyable, it's just that the whole time I was reading it I kept thinking about how I'd rather be reading ALIAS.

I googled first and found information (including from Tony Visconti) that it's unclear who owns and controls Bolan's estate, but they're apparently very wealthy. His son Rolan doesn't get anything, Gloria Jones apparently gets nothing, and a lot of key players are dead: Steve Peregrin Took, June Child, Steve Currie. Mickie Finn and Bill Legend get nothing. Just trying to get some info on the third tournament down here in the SCCC
From what has been previously said, I think it is going to be hosted by UNT in Dallas, and I think it is going to be at the end of January or beginning of February
I was hoping to get a date or get everyone thinking about it so that we could get a date set cause its just a little over a month away.
