Marty's "LIES"...for real?

OK, I have been puzzling over this all weekend and I would like to know some opinions of y'all. All those things Marty said to Todd in the room... "I love you" "Make me hate you", being so gentle with the scar....was that a lie? I totally think they're going to be together, but it does make you think
there are 3 scenarios
1.Marty was telling the truth/later hated herself for it
2. Marty was flat-out lying, but really doesn't know it's true
3. Marty was lying (I dont agree with that)

Did Marty forgive Todd for the frat house Rape?

I saw this topic being discussed on the soapnet board and people were spirited in their opinions. I for one have always thought that Marty (SH) forgave Todd (RH) back in the 90's after he saved her and the kids in that car crash and prior to him taking a bullet in the back for patrick Thornhart in Ireland. This I thought was the evolution of their relationship from rapist and victim to mutual respect for each other. If I'm mistaken please correct me!

I read a cool post on another (boring!) board yesterday that I found fascinating. I had never thought of the Tarty fiasco this way, but now it makes perfect sense. What do you think?

Would you make this deal? Both goalies have struggled mightily this season and could probably use a change in scenery. I don't think Kipper will ever regain his form in Calgary, and I think Turco could actually make the Flames a better team.
Think about it, what is one of Calgary's main achilles heel? The inability of their D to efficiently move the puck out of their zone! Marty Turco would instantly solve that problem as he is a deft passer, almost like a 3rd D.

I think since Marty has amnesia, even though she didn't recognize Todd in the Internet photo of her rapists due to the character's plastic surgery after Roger Howarth's departure...THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME HE RAPED HER!

Why I hate Marty

I can't stand this character.
IMO she's weak and whiny.
I hate revenge plots of all kinds--one of the main reason that Todd has become unwatchable for me. Now Marty is seeking revenge. BORING!
She should be concentrating on getting her life back--trying to find out who she really is and helping her son. All she seems to be able to think about is herself.
Mostly I guess I truly recent all the airtime this story is getting.

It's been a rough start to the season for the Dallas Stars and no one is feeling the brunt more than Marty Turco. Many thought that this would be a big year for Turco considering the departure of more than capable backup turned beleaguered starter Mike Smith and the exorcising of many a playoff demon.
