I have been listening to a lot of Dave Ramsey and reading online and I have come to the realization that I am going to have to sell my car in order to get my life in order. I graduated college a year ago with $30,000 in student loan debt and I went out and bought my new 2008 Mazda 3 in May for $18,000. I financed for 5 years and now owe $16,700 on it. Just had the worst experience I've ever had while shopping for cars at Legacy Mazda. I can't really get into the details,but I wanted everyone out there who doesn't like getting ripped off to know that Legacy Mazda is full of LIARS!!! Never get your financing through them as they will charge you a higher interest rate to make money off the back end.
Never let them touch the keys to the car you are thinking about trading in or it will be impossible to get them back.
Never trust the price they giv...

So I'm looking at trading my 04 mazda 6 in for a newer model. I would rather have a truck but mazda is giving me more then I owe and 0% finance.
Looking at 08 mazda 6 6 speed , leather, spoiler, fully loaded, turbo,etc
Vs
08 6 auto cloth, power everything, 4 cyl, black, no spoiler.

Hi all,
Has anyone tested/tried/have an opinion on these (imports are called Mazda Demios I think)?
I am considering a second car hatchback and given my faith in Mazda now, was thinking of this as a Fiesta alternative? The 1.5 Sport seems nice.

When is Mazda going to dump the Tribute and Make a CX-5?

I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I don't understand why they haven't built it yet when the compact SUV market is making gains because of gas prices and the shift from larger haulers to SUVs with a certain degree of fuel efficiency.
The Tribute has never really been a Mazda in the essence of every other vehicle they have designed in the last 6 years (CX-7/9, Mazda2/3/5/6, RX-8). It's almost the anti-Mazda. Boxy, without curves. So when in the world is Mazda going to invest some do...

Any problems with the 2nd Gen Mazda 6 yet?

My girlfriend is thinking about purchasing the new Mazda 6. I have my own reservations about the Mazda 6 in general because of all the recalls and fixes I had to do to my 03 6s. I was wondering if anybody experienced anything with the I4 or V6 engines, tranny, electronics, etc. Any opinions would help.

Ok so ive been browsing different cars to find the next car that im going to love for a few years untill i get settled and that will be reliable and whatnot, good gas mileage but not to expensive.
So ive overlooked the Mp5 upon looking and reading....i came to like it alot...i have not been in one yet, or drove one, but ive found some with under 50k miles for 8k. Good price if i must say, as im trying to avoid financing etc.
So i did some reading, good reviews that i could find.

wife's 97 voyager is pretty much toast and i'm looking to replace it. budget is almost non- existant as i have to do the roof as well say max 2000.00.
ive spotted a couple of awd apv's and was wondering what to watch out for in buying an older used one .. do the trans hold up well? other than the basic mechanicals what should i look for?
