Opinions needed-Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine
(07 Nov 2008)
We have trip already planned for Feb & since Fantasmic is only showing a few times while we are there I was thinking about adding a Fantasmic Dinning package as an ADR but have not acted on it yet. Now with the new buy 4 get 3 free I figure it will be busier & may be even a better idea to book a dinner package. We really don't want to wait for the show for over an hour.
What would you suggest Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine? Buffets are fine for this family and we have not eaten at either of th...

"Steven (Stamkos) is not ready for the NHL" - Barry Melrose
(09 Dec 2008)
Opinions?
Lightning forward Steven Stamkos, who was the first pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, has struggled in his debut season, posting three goals and eight assists in 27 games, with a minus-11 rating. Stamkos's ice time was one of the issues that was brought up when Melrose was fired on November 15.
Melrose, who pointed out that Stamkos was now playing fewer minutes than he had when Melrose was coaching, gave a very frank assessment of the 18-year old.
"Steven is not ready for the NHL," Mel...

thinkin' about the bolts
(28 Oct 2008)
Last night as I layed in my bed, trying to sleep, I began thinking about our team's struggles. I thought about various things...such as, Lecavalier's mind boggling low icetime the other night vs. San Jose. The lack of scoring in our lineup. Our defense that is allowing way too many shots per game. Wondering if people might be proven right that Barry Melrose was a horrible choice for a coach. The incredible play of Mike Smith and how that trade with Dallas is starting to look like quite a steal f...

I noticed today that Sirius is trading at less than $0.21/share down
from a $3.94 52-week high. How the mighty have fallen. Opinions
requested: Was this simply a failure of "Pay Radio"? a successful beat-
back by OTA radio? Too much competition by MP3? computer webcasts?
Poor exectution? National disgust with Howard Stern?
Does anyone here see it surviving in its present form?
Going 'first', I perceive it as a bad conce...

It's arguably one of the greatest collections of talent in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl High School All-Star Football Game's seven-year history.
On one side, there's a Blue Team loaded with some of the area's top offensive standouts, including Ole Miss commitment Gabriel Hunter (Kingsbury), Class 5A Mr. Foot...

The Morning Skate: 2009 N.H.L. Year in Review
By Stu Hackel
The days of 2008 have dwindled down to a precious few and its supposed to be the time of year to look back. Everyone is doing it. But its sorta counterintuitive to reflect on hockey now, with the season not even half over. Whats the point of bisecting the hockey calendar when it doesnt jibe with the Gregorian calendar? And really, what fun is it to regurgitate what happened in the...

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Grant Show, a former resident of "Melrose Place," is moving to a new locale.
Show has signed on to FOX's midseason series "Point Pleasant," a supernatural soap opera from former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" scribe Marti Noxon. He'll play a guy whose presence casts a shadow over the seaside town of the title.
The show's original pilot didn't include Show, and the character he'll now play was a minor o...
