Went and watched the WSOP final table last night at the RIO- need opinions...
(11 Nov 2008)
I need to know if this is a little extreme. I love poker as much as the next gy. I even get a few magazines each month. But something I saw last night seemed a little odd and wanted some opinions.
My GF calls me last night and tells me that it is open to the public so I figured I would go up there and look around. I get up there around 8pm, doors and opened 9:30. It is first come first serve seating so I get in line. I get stuck next to a poker groupie. Him and his sister are nice but know too m...

Advice? Opinions?
(21 Dec 2008)
This may turn into a long, drawn-out story but I will try my best to trim it.
I met a girl (Whom I will refer to as The Girl) at work a while back. Yes, I know, it's not a bright idea to do that because it could cause awkward tensions, but oh well. We've been speaking to each other for a few months now, and on workdays we basically talk via person or text from the time we get up until the time we go to bed.
It all started when I was getting trained for Conveyor Utility (I work in a warehouse, so...

Studio Apartment Project Over Garage -
(27 Dec 2008)
Some time ago, I told a very good local contractor who primarily does renovations of 'antique' houses that when he got caught up and had some free time, I wanted him to finish part of the upstairs area I had envisioned during the original construction of my 'GarageMahal'. I also wanted him to finish my wife's 8x16 pantry, the stairs going to the 2nd floor and build a bath on the pantry mezzanine (the pantry mezzanine is on the level of the covered breezeway connecting our house and the garage an...

Great Read on the origins of the Financial Crisis
(28 Nov 2008)
This article is making the rounds and it deserves it. It is an easy read and goes into great detail on how we got where we are, and why the era of the big Investment banks is done.
It is by the author of Liar's Poker.

The End
by Michael Lewis Nov 11 2008
The era that defined Wall Street is finally, officially over. Michael Lewis, who chronicled its excess in Liar’s Poker, returns to his old haunt to figure out what went wrong.
To this day, the willingness of a Wall Street investment bank to pay me hundreds of thousands of dollars to dispense investment advice to grownups remains a mystery to me. I was 24 years old, with no experience of, or particular interest in, guessing which stocks and bonds would rise an...

Unbelievable. I wouldn't advise starting this article unless you have time to finish reading it.

Rolling Stone: 500 Greatest Albums of All Time
(09 Dec 2008)
As of 11/18/2003. My friends and I were talking about some great albums so I tried to find a comprehensive list of opinions regarding the best albums of all time. Rolling Stone put this list out about five years ago, and though I disagree with a bunch of them, it still seems to hold true to popular opinion. Definitely some interesting albums that I wouldn't have expected to see on a list by Rolling Stone. Good stuff.

My Story With My Didi
(13 Oct 2008)
Note:This story is purely fictional
My sister is 4 year older than I am. We had normal brother-sister relations. Since I am younger in the family everybody loves me very much. Always treating me as a kid only. I was normal kid until I passed 13, as you must have known kid at that age having so much interest in girl/ women and their hidden mysteries. I also started to take interest in girls. I would feel electric currant in my short when I see bare flesh of any girl or women through there cloths....
