Thinking about adopting a dog

My daughter has been wearing us out for a Puppy for the past couple months...she says that all she wants for Christmas is a puppy (her Christmas list has the puppy, and then pretty much just stuff related to a dog...IE - new collar, dog toys, rawhide bones, etc.).
Anyways, the wife and I are not against it, we're big fans of Border Collies, and our current Female (Arrow) is a great dog....I think she'd do good with a companion too....but we are not at all excited about raising a puppy, especiall...

Why not Gillis hire Paul MacLean as the new head coach.
He's currently an assistant to Mike Babcock, but he's learned from him and he's a stanley cup winning coach. He'll bring a wealth of knowledge to the club, much more than Av.

i am thinking about getting woodcut tools!, but unsure of which ones to get! i figured i would search the net for that question.. but can not find any opinions!. just wondering what people think? and also where to buy them from..
i reside in England!. So anywhere here would be good! but also does not matter from abroad! might be able to get a better deal from overseas anyway!! WAHOO..

THINKING about upgrading my cell phone...

hello fellow chrome domes: i'm thinking about upgrading my cell phone in the near future. i currently have a t-mobile dash cell phone. it is an awesome phone but the battery life is horrible. lately... the battery will get "weak" after a few phone calls & text messages. i don't know... i might just buy an extra battery or just get a new phone. (undecided)
anyways... i just wanted 2 hear your inputs on your current cell phone. will U b upgrading? i'm thinking about getting the new t-mobile...

Melanie Nelson from Blogging Basics wrote for Blogging Tips for a few weeks recently.
In one of our email conversations she mentioned that she likes to retain full rights of any post she writes so that she can post it elsewhere on the web. This was something I was strongly against as I want all posts on BloggingTips to be original.

sorry if this has been posted before... but i'm just gonna post some opinions and stuff about them;
besides the cards being used to send happy new year greetings to people... i'm betting other people are using them in other ways than just greetings... even though they take up room, they do make an excellent pm system o.o
like actually messaging someone when they aren't on, and they get it when they log on. so are you guys using them the same way?
maybe a similar system like this can be suggested...

Worth waiting for the MKVI's? Thinking about trading in my '06 A3.

Local dealers are offering good deals for trade-in on my A3 and sale of a GTI. So I'm debating on pulling the string, but am wondering if I am not better off to wait until the MKVI mdels come out this September.
Any folks here used to drive an A3? Wondering if there are any first hand views on the differences between the two cars and what I might miss on the GTI that the A3 had. A3 is a 2.0T 6-spd. manual, loaded minus the nav, sun roof and bose.

If you are contemplating a Nissen fundoplication, think very carefully about how badly you really need it.
