Thinking about military... opinions needed

Alright, I may have done things backwards but here is the situation....
I graduated in May from Westminster with a BA in Business Finance and a minor in Accounting - gpa 3.3 and I'm 23 years old
I have wanted to join the military for 6+ years and its always been in the back of my mind, for the past 2 years I have been seriously contemplating it. I'm in the work force now (i do finance stuff for small construction company) and its a fine job... but I'm missing something.

but I do NOT want to talk to a recruiter, just for the fact that they get paid to get soldiers.
So I was wondering if I could hear from people in the Military so I could get a better opinion of it, like what its like and why I should do it or shouldn't

Im 17, A senior at highschool and was thinking about the airforce just because I don't know what eles to do (good benifits and a nice bonus are persuading me) and I would love to live in Europe!!

Thinking about joining the military

Well this May I'll be graduating with an associates in Criminal Justice and I will have been trying to obtain a job in law enforcement for 16 months. I've decided that if I wasn't on the job by that time, I'm going to join the military. I think that it will give me some valuable life experience and transition me into a fully functioning adult (still living at home). I also have a feeling joining the military is harder than I think.
I want to serve my country, don't get me wrong, but I don't thin...

so, i'm 20 years old, and i have been interested in becoming an army mechanic for quite a while now- 3 or 4 years. i was wondering if anyone on here is a mechanic in the military, and what they think of it? i checked out this:

i don't know much of anything about it, and that doesn't really expand on what i would be doing at all. if you're part of this, or do something similar, i would love to hear your thoughts on this. thanks guys!

Question For People In The Military (Or Have Been In The Military)

My question is this, What are the procedures for an adult to enlist in the military? Is it the same as someone right out of high school? Also, what scores on the ASVAB/GT (or whatever other tests) do you have to make for the better jobs? Is there a website that one can go to to see the scores on these tests and how they compare to what military jobs you would get?
I'm asking b/c my husband wants to enlist. He has been thinking about this for a while and wants to really do it. He talked to his br...

Opinions on military

I'm thinking bout going into either the coastguard or the navy. I would like to become a pilot. However, I have a cardiac issue, so flying a fighter is out of the question. Possibly even joining either might not happen. But which do you guys favor? Have any of you been in either branch?
