(26 Oct 2008)
Hello, I have a very good and extensive history in sales.I am very good with people and deal with the public everyday. I am thinking about getting into this business on my own full time from scratch.I have been in the business before working in the St Louis area for about 3 years. I had a great time and the guy I worked for made very good money. The STL area was very good. I now live in Georgia. I have done a little homework around the area to see what kind of residential market I would have out...

Thinking about moving to Japan, need some opinions.
(06 Nov 2008)
Hello everyone, I'm new here, but I'm looking for some input.
I'll try not to go into great detail of the events of my life that have gotten me to this point, I don't want to bore everyone. So I'm 21 years old, college didn't work out for me after high school for various reasons. So here I am now, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, and over the past month I've been seriously considering going to school in Japan.
Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to do certain things, I...

Thinking about getting an xbox 360
(13 Oct 2008)
Well, the Wii has been relatively disappointing this year, even Brawl got boring for me after a couple of months, and No More Heroes was the only other game this year that I liked. I've been thinking about getting a 360, but I don't wanna spend too much, considering I only got the Wii for Christmas last year, and I'm unsure if I want to spend a large sum of money so soon. Well, whats the overall best 360 out of the 3 (arcade, elite, and normal) that gives you the most for your money and overall...

Thinking about selling my car
(09 Nov 2008)
I have been listening to a lot of Dave Ramsey and reading online and I have come to the realization that I am going to have to sell my car in order to get my life in order. I graduated college a year ago with $30,000 in student loan debt and I went out and bought my new 2008 Mazda 3 in May for $18,000. I financed for 5 years and now owe $16,700 on it. I want to become debt free as soon as possible and it's going to be so much harder with a $333 a month car payment. I want to sell the 3 and get a...

Thinking about getting a Nautilus
(16 Nov 2008)
I have been racking my brains over how to keep my son safe if he had to ride with his grandparents. It may never even happen but it is something I need to think about. My son is 4.5 and rides FT in a Como. But I am thinking about trying to sell it for a Nautilus because it converts to a booster. I like this because my MIL is unable to buckle my son in his current seat. And I believe she could do a seatbelt with her arthritis. If she can't - should my son be able to do his own harness and/or seat...

Leaving your job with a 401K? Think about your options regarding your pre...
(21 Nov 2008)
Issue 8
Hello Ladies, when you leave your job, you have several choices regarding your 401(k). These options are pretty much universal, meaning they apply to every 401(k) and to every job change situation. Your options are:
Cash the 401(k) plan and receive a full pay-out
I’ve listed this option first because it has the most serious ramifications.
First, if you take a full payout, you will have to pay taxes on the plan — usually 20% off the top when you take the money out, and a 10% penalty when...

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE BAIL
(28 Nov 2008)
I just love knowing that the fat cats, that get double digit millions per year in pay, and bonuses and perks, lined up for a " socialistic" hand out of billions of tax payers dollars. It's socialism to help the poor or put the low middle class back on their feet, but it is not socialism to give all that money to admitted millionaire fat cat's. Something is wrong with this picture.
NOW THE BANKS ARE NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH EXISTING HOME OWNERS TO SAVE THEIR HOMES FROM FOR CLOSURE. We are in Mich...

If your thinking about a mulching kit...
(05 Nov 2008)
...go for it. I just got the kit for my 2654 and it make my leaves dissapear!! I mow an acre set in the woods (lots of trees here, oaks, maples, cherries)and it does an excellent job. I had about 2" of leaves down in spots. I had to go pretty slow with that many down, but it chopped them right up (I went over some areas twice, but I'm anal). No more raking & hauling away on a tarp.
I got the kit from my local dealer for $50. It took me about 30-45 minutes to install. In my opinion, well worth th...

Something to Think About While Handling Money
(08 Nov 2008)
Quote: : Think about it.
Strip clubs facilitate a huge flow of one dollar bills, and those bills circulate back into the economy as soon as the stripper spends them.
Granted, strippers are (generally) very clean people so just because a bill was pressed against their naked ass is probably nothing to worry about.
Still bugs me though. http://forums.explosm.net/showthread.php?t=39796
