Been lurking here for quite a while, scouring the site for all things JK.
I sold my '04 Rubicon two years ago for a stint with an FJ Cruiser... I miss my Jeep, and am thinking about a JK Unlimited Rubicon. This time I want the four doors....
My biggest question, is over manual vs automatic transmission.

vet aquired ss patches, mountain division and others opinions

A buddy of mine at work brought these in for me to look at, they were aquired from his wife's grandfather... who is deceased. Was wondering what some of these patches are and if they are real. I'm thinking they are because he also had a luftwaffe buckle, RAD belt and buckle, a nazi pennant for an automobile, a luger which is already sold. And those items were the real deal. These patches which are sewn onto a strip of cloth. No tags or identification aon the back sides. I can identify the death...

Mountain View, Arkansas Bluegrass Festival

I just came back from Mountain View, Arkansas. I found out that they are holding a Bluegrass Festival there November 6, 7, and 8 of this year. I am thinking about taking my family over there next month for our first large scale bluegrass festival.
Is anyone here planning on being there?
Have you ever been before? If so, what was it like?

Convert mountain bike into commuter, which tires?

I've got an old Trek 800 mountain bike, i want to switch out the nobies for easier rolling tires...which tires do you recommend? I've been thinking about the Serfas City Drifter, the Tioga City Slicker, or the Continental City Ride tires. These are all 26 inch tires. Keep in mind i'm an Uber Clyde, and I'm not sure that a totally slick tires is the best choice for me or a Semi Slick tire. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

so ive been thinking about starting a new meet at Palomar mountain, was wondering how many people around san diego/temecula would be down?
check it out.
its 12.5 miles long the beginning being very twisty where our cars are the FUNNEST to drive.. safetly ofcourse. was wondering if anyone would be down for this meet i we started it.
