Something to think about
(11 Nov 2008)

From Dan Denning at the Old Hat Factory:
--"Shares may slip as U.S. mood gets darker," reports Allison
Jackson in today's Australian. Indeed. We've had some dark
days in the last year here at the Old Hat Factory. But for
whatever reason, today is one of the darkest that we can
recall.
--Here's a warning. Today's Daily Reckoning is largely about
the growing tension between individual liberty and the
coercive powe...

2 suggestions to think about:
(29 Sep 2008)
some things that I think would be nice, that haven't really been brought up:
1. Could we have the contest announcements on the front page news or somewhere similar? I've been going to this site for 6 months now, and even though I wouldn't have had the time to do some of the bigger contests, I missed every single one. I now know about the new one, but it would be nice for the newbies
2. Just something to think about: should the mini mapping contest entries from other people be allowed to be used...

Something to think about for EVERY American
(10 Nov 2008)
Something to think about for EVERY American Never would have expected this from Letterman and I don't know why he waited till after the election to say these things.
It may be long but the further you get into it the more it rings true. Take the time to read it all . . .
Try to read this article by David Letterman, without thinking Democrat
or Republican we need to all be grateful!!
David Letterman wrote this; it's the David we don't often see....
'As most of you know I am not a President Bush f...

Opinion and speculation in the news
(08 Oct 2008)
I was watching CNN the other day, when it hit me that very little of what it contains is news...Well, maybe that isn't so surprising.
Anyway, the news is more like a shred of news, followed by commentary of what opinions we should form about that news. For example, Wolf Blitzer will have so-and-so analyst on, who will begin his response with "I think..."
That "I think" is a cue telling you that everything following it is opinion.
Discuss.

We had to replant trees to replace some that got ruined in a storm or whatever. Go to 34 seconds and 59 seconds. At 59 seconds I am the one holding the tree. I'm thinking about dropping out of school and going to Hollywood to pursue an acting career.

Fox News stole my parents
(01 Nov 2008)
Holy shit, just got off the phone with them, they're so brain washed its not funny. I called them and asked what they were doing. They procced to tell me they're being informed on all the different opinions of the canidadates and watching the speeches on Fox News. I respond with "oh, Fox News, maybe you should go past Fox News" which they respond "oh, what, you watch CNN?" When I tell them I do searches on line, they go "oh, you don't know who that is posting that info on the internet, it could...

Stop Listening to the news !
(30 Oct 2008)
I am done with watching the doom and gloom. We just closed our 10th brand new client this year, old customers are adding on, and I have more appointments today and tomorrow. This represents double the new clients we have closed before Nov. 1,. and new revenue, which are add-ons to old and new customer sales, is about 50% higher than ever before. The doom and gloom of the news is either just not true on Christmas Lights, or we have finally reached a point where Our business here is growing withou...
