Thinking about Walsh Shuttles. Opinions?
(27 Aug 2008)
I'm real interested in what people have to say about these pipes. Especially reeding them, it says they take PC reeds. What reeds have you had success with?

(26 Oct 2008)
Hello, I have a very good and extensive history in sales.I am very good with people and deal with the public everyday. I am thinking about getting into this business on my own full time from scratch.I have been in the business before working in the St Louis area for about 3 years. I had a great time and the guy I worked for made very good money. The STL area was very good. I now live in Georgia. I have done a little homework around the area to see what kind of residential market I would have out...

What do you think about Ka Bars?
(07 Nov 2008)
What do you think about Ka Bars? So I got one off of the internet and I like it a lot. I got the model 1211, the black Kraton G handle with the 7 inch blade. I will use it for camping and hiking. Of course I am relatively new when it comes to nicer knives, and every review of the knife I could find described it as "razor sharp, never gets dull, indestructible etc". There were a lot of people who described it as never getting dull. So I figured that that was the non knife guru opinion, so I am wo...

Thinking about moving from OR
(09 Nov 2008)
Hi,
I'm interested in the idea of FSP. I want to ask a few questions, and see if I can convince myself and my wife to move there. We're in the West Coast in one of the liberal bastions/cities. We both believe that there are too many regulations in the US, and we both believe that tax is too high.
My wife will soon become a pharmacist. Are there plenty of hospitals there? She doesn't like working in retail/community pharmacies, and working in a hospital pharmacy will be her goals.
Second, I am in...

Think About How You Talk to People
(18 Nov 2008)
It's been almost a year since Ron Paul lost on Super Tuesday. Everyone here who's still hanging around RonPaulForums.com are very dedacated to the cause of limited government. When you're sitting here talking about the issues, it's okay to get angry with the nonsense that goes on. When you're here, you're preaching to the choir. But if we want to make real progress, we have to start convincing other people that we're right, not just each other. To do that, we have to talk to our friends, family,...

What are people thinking about EBAY?
(01 Oct 2008)
Not sure if this is 100% germane to this forum, but I'm wondering where people think eBay is headed. I was a seller there on and off for years. I stopped listing about 8 months ago when all the policy-change turmoil began. I wasn't happy with what I was seeing, and figured I'd take a wait-and-see approach. When they recently announced the new "FP30" listing type (30 day, fixed price, non-Stores listing), that caught my attention. I am thinking about giving that a try, but the new fee schedule is...

What do you think about people.
(08 Oct 2008)
Who say they want to go vegan to lose weight? Personally I think this is the worst possible thing to attach to a vegan diet. This makes it less likely for vegans to be taken seriously, and for us to seem like we're part of a fad diet or a cover up for an eating disorder. Whenever discussing veganism and this comes up it makes me angry because that is not what going vegan is about.
I encounter these people all the time, and I can't stand it.
